fingers crossed LW, but in the great scheme of things we all want a bit more than 3.95p and in truth if we get confirmation today and the SP had not moved I would have been "concerned" !

I bought back to my original position on the RNS revelation of the problem and its confirmation that it was now resolved, so i manged to make a bit of a turn there and got in at some more at 4p today as soon as the guys here said we had gone mobile.

So lets hope now its all plain sailing from here on in.... GLA

Hi D, Its certainly possible that the market is overly cautious on EVE.

But (well it wouldn't be me without a "but"), all ceo's (inc CC), will play down any problems or set backs etc. Given the pressure on costs (inflation, logistics, wages staff recriutment etc etc), then it was glaring (to me) to have no reference to that side in the update.

So, it does not mean that there is anything wrong, but it has left a degree of uncertainty i think, and that is therefore holding the SP back until that fog lifts.

This is just my view, and as always I am trying to put 2+2 together to make 4 and hopefully not 5, if you see what I mean.

The TU was very good as far as it went. and then to be backed up with a share purchase was again very positive.

I think i and to a degree we all, kind of go round in circles on this:

If the company proves it has a viable business model then the re-rate will be substantial, but still after all this time, the jury is still out.

At some time it will be clear, but i think until it is, the market has moved on a bit and will revisit EVE when there is proof that the corner is irrevocably turned. In the meantime there are other fish for it to fry.

First (minor) target is to close above 3.95p today.

if its to be explosive then it will be close to 4.6 p or above.

I think what this boils down to (your conversation on more or less staff), is how, maybe, fragile the business model currently is.

The SP (to my surprise ), has fallen back after the update and SP purchase. This is a bit of red flag (to me only), because we are also on the cusp of a lockdown and the SP has not reacted (or at least yet).

So my conclusion is that in the absence of any mention of potential effect of extra costs in the TU may be also putting the "recovery" under pressure at a critical time?

It sounds like we will know here first that the rig is on the move before an RNS!

I got out of Boo at 154p so took a small pill on my 163p purchase. (Deciding at what price to get out of a stock should it go down, BEFORE you buy in the first place, is all part of the plan. I can't emphasize enough how important money management is in this game. (Don't over commit & always have a plan.) To put meat on the bone I lost 5% on 3% (boo purchase) of my PF

Yes, there will be times when just a penny or so lower after you sell out, the SP rebounds and you think the Gods are against you, but more often than not, it will always help in minimising loss. if there is a (coherent) reason as to why (in this example 154p) was chosen then you stick to the plan. As it turned out it was the correct call.

As for Boo now, it seems a way over the top fall, but who wants to catch a falling knife?

It can often (for any share that suffers such a big fall), that a year or 2 later you look at the SP graph see the big fall and then over some months, a big recovery and wonder "what was that all about?"

I would not be surprised if that will be Boo. but realistically its potentially a 3 bagger in 12-24 months but if Eve performs, then it could be even better here.

I think the lack of LFT income combined with the ongoing costs of development of it have accelerated cash burn I think thats why there are new auditors because money needs to be saved at AVCT HQ
I think the SP still has 20-30p of LFT income at least in it presently

I think as everything seems to work on bio-pharmas that the timeline on AVA600k will probably in some form or another, slip.

The SP is 10% below the cash raise last year. There are shorts out that expect to go down further.

We have no idea how much money is being spent on the development of a test we can't get authorised to sell.

We have committed to an expensive trial in the US which means more funding in some form will be necessary soon or at least soonish

If there is, it explains everything. What I can't explain is why the EU have not moved faster, I don't know why we are not selling the to business in huge numbers, I can't explain why APAC has not moved a single inch on our covid test. Why haven't we got sales and distributors all set by now in that region as for the US, well it might as well be North Korea..

But if its the test itself, then it all makes sense.

Is it cost? manufacture? differing results on every batch?
