Thanks Rich, but my "problem" is the length of time this has been going on and the orderly way its done.

It doesn't make any difference if its a high volume day or low volume, and if there is a spurt of say 10p within a day or two at the most its back down again.

As you say, soon all we be revealed.

Mid feb 15% give or take of the current yea,. thats" early." other wise once March comes we are into "some time in Q1" territory and thats not the same thing.

Once timelines are lengthened without explanation it makes ALL investors nervous.

in my myopic view of the world its will be between now and the 11th.

Hi D, I considered that too, the contact after there was aresolution in place but I would 2 things against that.

It seems from some reviews that days pass without any contact and also a quick email saying "sorry for the ****-up I am looking into it and will be back shortly with a solution" type of thing.

My experience in sales is that customers will take a certain amount of bad news pretty well as long as they are kept in the loop. And that is hardly a well kept secret, so for me it does not quite chime that they SEEM to be making such heavy weather of what is a normal part of mass deliveries by not contacting/responding much more quickly then they appear to.

With no phone number and no response to an email, how does the customer know there is even anybody reading it?

IMatt, I think everything you say is correct.

So then you have to look at why did they tweet what they did now?

Either its a bit scammy, knowing the results are poor, or it is signal that results are close to being released.

Given it is "late" in the sense later than we expected (32 days v 18 previously) then I can see why the tweet was posted otherwise its not unreasonable for investors to think "is there a problem?"

So on balance and in light of what you said, I would take the view that we are very close now to the big reveal....

Back of a fag packet calculation is EVE are selling about 900-1000 Mattresses a week.

Assuming 10% go wrong(which I think is unacceptably high) thats a 100 emails a week or 20 a day.

If EVeE can't spare the time to respond 20 or so emails a day then something aint right.

Either they really are on a shoe string of staff or there are a lot more complaints.

And given the bad press these reviews are generating I am surprised another logistics company is not in place yet.

This is key to the proclaimed ethos of EVE. (How can you sleep well if the bloody Mattress doesn't turn up on time and you are stressed to wazoo!)

I find it odd/strange/frustrating, take your pick, that this stock is seemingly incapable of moving ahead or holding any (small) gains, given where it is in the news cycle.

I'm all for the well intentioned sentiment here, but none of us who have bought the stock other than at IPO, have contributed anything to SYN, the company or its workforce.

We are simply aiming to make money piggy backing on their hard work and expertise.

I'm not quite sure what some here think they are doing when they bought the stock from a broker who in turn had bought it off a third party.

SQ, why would you buys shares at a premium to the market when at the same a dilution would be taking place?

Say the placing price in your scenario was 100p You don't think there would be a lot of sellers who bought in around the price?

The longer you hold a stock the more emotionally attached you become and then bit by bit the fortunes and expectations of the company take centre stage in the ole noggin.

This often leads to believing in what ever the BoD's say (big mistake) and hanging on for an indeterminate length of time.

Whereas I will buy a share with an expected sell price in a specific time period. (As a very quick example I bought WOSG on Monday with a view to selling on results day on the 10th. Chart says they will have ago at the ATH which was about 20-25% away from where I bought. So, potential 20% gain for 2 weeks holding and then move on. If it turns out the SP does not go up then I will still sell, take my loss and still move on as the reason I bought turned out to be an incorrect decision.)

I only post my ideas on these BB's to while away the time and to learn where I can from others. :0))

Not really Noobs, I can separate fundamental analysis (well, by that I mean my guesses), and making buying and selling decisions based on the SP.

My overriding emotion is to care less about the actual company I own shares in. (Which over the years now, I have nailed.)

MC, yes you would, so why haven't they?

Either they think AVA trial will fail (or are gambling that it will) or may be just delayed with the need for longer timelines to sort out unclear data? No reasons that we know that this would be the case.

Or they see the need for a cash raise sooner rather than later and are waiting for the hit on the SP when/if that comes. although you would think there is enough in the coffers to wait for good news from the AVA trial to deflect/counteract that scenario.

Maybe they have just forgotten about it?

In which case presumably Jupiter the company with the short on is there, in which case the SP should be instructive of what is going on.

If they still don't close their short that don't look great for the SP in the short term. But if we see a big jump then maybe the corner has been turned?
