This is a binary play from an investment pov. All the research in the world won't tell you the result.

Stastically, trials more often fail than succeed which is why you get various phases of them.

I am very hopeful SNG will be one of the successes but thinking that somehow some sort of PI "research" will prove to be "best"is fanciful imo. Just sayin DYOR etc etc

Ok, that your opinion, but I was first to recognise that LFT was going to miss the boat. I was first to recognise that a cash raise would be likely sooner in the year than not.

How does being broadly correct tally in your warped world? Have you seen the trajectory of the SP?

If anybody felt my analysis logical enough to act on, they would be richer now than those that have held. How is that a bad thing exactly? What is your point? I am a "fake" and I "lie" but it was coincidence that the SP fell?

Whats your analysis been while the SP has collapsed over the last 10 months, apart from rubbishing me and saying I have been wrong all the way along and maybe keeping people in the stock that might have otherwise sold?

try and separate what is happening as opposed to what you want to happen.

I think the SP fall may be due to the final nail of zero near term LFT income mentioned in the interview. There may have been a residual hope that a quick fix was going to happen (after all AS did intimate that at the time.)

All i have done is to try and stay one step ahead of the SP movements and share those thoughts here.

Its not my fault that the SP is where it is. I want nothing more than the SP to go ballistic but we are where we are, wishing it were not so, does not really help.

Saying it will 50 bag in 18 months is my idea or irresponsible. Might as well be Sujood.

MCB, I think LFT is completely dead in the water. It came across to me that they have no timescale at all when they will even re-submit the test. and you can tell that by that time it won't be omicron anymore so whats the point?

And yes its mid year at the soonest so basically 5/6 months away.

Body language (to me) did not suggest milestone payments will get AVCT much money in the bank at this stage relative to outgoings.

Plus late march early April for results (8 weeks away), So put away in the draw and forget for a while I think.

Chris, I don't blame AS for making the cash raise when he did, I am simply stating that 1 month after he said they had a strong cash position (which, be fair, indicated that a cash raise was not on the immediate horizon), there was a 40m share dilution. and the SP fell dramatically on the news.

All I am saying is, that it is quite possible to hold the position that AVCT has a great future but in the short term there might be a lower SP in which to get in at so as to maximise any SP gain.

I know some here can't stand the thought of others making money out of buying and selling stocks (whatever the individuals timescale is, but for quite a few, outside this BB, getting in at as lower price as possible, is actually quite important.

Who Knows, but any other ideas why the SP has fallen today and is below the price before the AVA update news broke?

Mr. B, well that would be great because that's the only reason I can see particularly why the SP has had such a muted reaction to the latest AVA data. Since that info is now out there (the no near future cash raise in the interview) the SP has fallen a little further so I guess that leaves 2 options:

One, the lack of buyers at higher prices is being restrained by something else or, the market does not believe him.

Obviously I don't which one it is or maybe its something else but I would note that on the 06/05/2020 RNS AS said "Following a post-period end £5.75 million fundraising the business remains well capitalised with a £10.5 million net cash position as at the 30 April 2020."

And 1 month later AVCT had a "surprise" raise of £48m

I would also point out that as AS felt the need to deal with this in this early Feb interview suggests I was hardly out on a limb identifying this as a potential block on SP appreciation. The fact I just saw it on this BB, before most others, and like most of these things, somehow being able to identify potential problems gets you on the naughty step here.

Are you implying I was the only one in thinking that the SP was going to rise on those 2 stocks?
Could you find one single post where I ramped either stock? can you find one single post where I "advised" anyone to do anything?
Don't I often always tell posters to not over commit to any one stock so that if something does go wrong its not too painful?

I have just looked at your posting history and I'm not interested in what you have said but you have posted on ABDX, AVCT, BLOE & ABDX. All of which have been in decline for some time. Your record is hardly anything to go by assuming you have not spent the last 12 months telling everyone to sell?

DGU, yeo, you are right basically CC was indulging in abit of BS there..

her take could be justified if it was a 9p fall to 7,5p say, but when its going back that the valuation is based just on the money in the bank suggests there is more to it from the market's pov.

And funnily enough, due to the SP, I think there is a good chance that CC will actually talk up EVE in March. (Because the alternative is really a gradual slide from here as cash leaks out until the next update some months later.)

Pedro, I don't go over the top when i defend my opinion. I don't call people liars or frauds or any other derogatory terms simply because they take a different view.

I tend to copy what they have said for context then, if I can, refute it.

But a lot of this BB's posters seem just to like the confrontational personal aspect that social media now tolerates.

thats true, but not accurate if I said I will have the race won in the first 20% of it.

Assuming the CEO is accurate than I think its this week however, my limited experience is that they always are over optimistic. so who knows.....

(But I do think both PG and Polar had more accurate info than the we did on the likely release date.)

Context would have been result is in fist half of 2022 if you were going to run it up to 30th June....

Silver, its all interpretation of course on what early 2022 means but it also has to be taken into context.

If someone says early 2022 in 2019, then yes Q1 is reasonable but if you say early 2022 in Dec 2021 then it's on for this week or otherwise you were wrong and you need to update the market.

Next week nearly 15% of the year will have passed.

The news on ACVA so far is about as good as it gets. The LFT fiasco is already priced in. There have been road shows to promote the investment opportunity. So why has the SP fallen and why has Jupiter increased their short at precisely the time they should pocket their gains?

The only conclusion I can come to is that they expect further falls (They might be wrong but that's what they expect unless they are nut jobs and I don't think they are. And they don't "gamble" like PI's do)

So, given all the positives, what news could cause a further drop in the SP to warrant holding and indeed increasing their short?

I can only think that is the potential of a cash raise.

We can discuss whether it is this month, next month, or next year, but where is the money to come from in the next 12 months to make a fund raise unnecessary?

I guess we have take a view as to how much is required to get to a sales income level that is at least at breakeven?

What we can all agree on is that there are too many variables for us to know. So whats next?

Next, as best as I can see, is the TU/Results. They are not far away, a matter of a few weeks I think.

I am not sure how much forward detail will be provided (I am not expecting much), but what will be apparent is the cash burn and balance left.

I assume therefore Jupiter I taking a view that cash burn was or will be reported, higher than the market expects and therefore whatever the uncertainty around a possible cash raise, it will simply highlight that potential to depress the SP.

And they only need it to be temporary to make their money.

This might be why other potential buyers are also sitting on the sidelines?

But there has been some odd stuff. You have Polar selling down in a very orderly way over several weeks. Never rushing, almost like they know when the news will be released.

Then you have PG increasing their stock at always the lows over several weeks, never rushing, again its almost like they know when the results are due.

I am not saying the results are known or being delayed but whereas we are told early 2022, maybe these big holders asked for a bit more clarification and were told 90 days after date --/--/--?

Absolutely fruits, I agree 100%, its just that everybody says AIM is an illegal casino, so its either one or the other.

Maybe Its just that PG know when the results will be released specifically whereas we are waiting for early 2022 to wind around?

sorry, i hit the post button early. I also wonder if SNG are working with polygon to delay the news so that causes some concern in holders making them sell on falls allowing PG to get in at their preferred price.

(Its all very "conspiracy theory stuff, but with a near 20% stake in the company and a repeated pattern that never seems to "fail" and given its AIM, I would not be surprised. If this BS idea is right then when they get to 20% that's when the news will be released (just my opinion)
