No deal, no license, no idea of how much funding will be needed or when. As shareholders these are pretty basic questions that I for one going into 2026 expected to know by now

Its basically calculating probability in its answers based on all the info (accurate and false), that is available on the internet.

Just because it comes to an answer does not make it by any means definitive. But it does it make probably likely.

Thats pretty flawed inasmuch as if we just posted "facts" then there would be no real point to this BB.

The reason for these BB's are to project ideas and see which stand up to the cross examination of others so as to maybe, determine what is most likely to happen next.

AVA6k has proven to be a disappointment overall.

What seems to have been proved is that the wrapper is safe but that the release into the tumour is not as predicted or expected.

This is based on the original target cancers having been it looks like dropped, along with the SGC being introduced at the time, out of the blue and that cancer had no present treatment of which to compare this tech to.

For me the fact that that no mtd has been found and that the P1b trial has been going 9 months (or has it?) surely with dosings every 3 weeks there could have been 10 rounds of administrations and yet "all" we have in the way of results is partial or minor responses, which as I have already said is great for the patient but I think has shown very clearly the limitations of the trial.

So to me it makes sense to wind it down asap if they have corrected the short comings and get on to the next trial quickly.

All this to me is pretty self evident. What concerns me is that this just more of the same from AVCT, hype the trial, the trial fails to deliver as promised, but the next trial will be the one.....

It is in fact the more bullish predictions here based on what we actually know that become presently the least likely outcome, rather than the more cautious ones..

For instance what tech has AVCT produced commercially since it floated some £200m plus and over a decade ago? Thats the basis we have to go by, not blindly believing every partial statement AS/CC that is drip fed down to shareholders.

As I said just recently we are now back to funding. Great....

If anyone here thinks an absence of news means progress, then please show one example of when an update filed to mention a particular arrow in the quiver it was because it was progressing positively?

To assume no news is good news on a company that is loss making and could release a positive holding statement on an ongoing trial is simply either in denial or perhaps really has no idea about investing.

In any event its a view that has no coherency or logic or reason behind it

I too wondered why weekly dosings were not used/trialed or even every other day if no MTD was found.

My conclusion was, when they saw the results of 2 week dosings it made insignificant difference.

I (nor any of us) know what is the "problem" with Phase1 but please don't anyone say it has exceeded expectations. This was (as was last year), the year full of dat results which would provoke a deal or buy out.

None has occurred.

My view is that many here hopelessly over-estimate the compentancy of this as a company as opposed to scientists in their field. I believe CC saisd as much that they had no idea about financially progressing the company and had to learn as they went.

Remember its all about the money until it isn't and it looks now we are back on the treadmill of funding requirements as and when.

There is this trial grinding on, now wasting money, with a new trial about to begin with all those added costs and still the original loan is there albeit repayment delayed. More funds will be needed and it looks like ND listing may be next. However if you think this will be "great news" for current Sharehoilders think again. Its still a cash raise.

And it will be expensive. We don't know when, we don't know for how much, we don't know if its to go solo, or to license out.

And the market does not know either.

These are the things the market actually cares about. And as its the market that sets the SP its worth understanding it what IT wants, don't you think?

Now I don't care because I keep making money out of trading this stock. I hope others have done so too. But please take off the rose tinted specs because they are becoming increasingly expensive to wear.

A couple of observations:

1: Ice has posted what i have been saying for years here. So good that he caught up.

Also you can't believe at face value what the BoD's tell you in these types of company's. And thats more important than you think, because most people who do their research base it on those pronouncements and that leads them into a false sense of security in thinking they understand the very complex science involved, as well as surmising that its only a matter of time until said company's SP explodes upwards.

As usual in almost every case, the market gets it right. If AVCT were really on the threshold of a breakthrough the SP woulds not have been where its been over the last few years. Collectively it is imo the single best indicator of likely success.

When you buy in a down trend you are effectively betting against the market which includes a lot of smarter and better educated people both in analysis of the science as well as investment. So thats why it is rare for a PI to beat the market. So stop blaming Aim and look muh more to your own plan as to why you keep buying when you do.

Lastly, all this "its the traders". Again what lazy inaccurate thinking. We are not clairvoyant. I did not know what to expect form the results so would/could not take a position. The odds were in fact of good news to help the SP, so why idi it fall? It fell after the results and fwiw worth I sold 30000 shares on the bell because it was only then apparent it was less than stella news.

Stop looking to outside non-avct related actions that are the problem.

Phase 1 has not produced the results expected. only partial and minor recordings in a cancer with no present treatment available. That is not what was billed at the outset.

Where is the deal CC alluded to? What happened to Orphan status? What happened to fast track? Where are the milestone payments?

This historically is an absolute typical loss making bio pharma. Big on talk slow, on delivery, and always needs more funds.

Because, p1b has little value now. Its acted by all accounts as a stepping stone as they detected what the problem was and apparently have corrected it and we see that in the next trial. Trials take a very long time. Money burns quick.

If after all this time you don't get that then perhaps this is not the sector for you. (Remember AVCT has a hefty MC for no income at all anymore or indeed any income on the near horizon, other than yet more dilution.)

I’m not sure what value P1 has now given AVCT mk cap.

The trial results have had no impact on the price and I think the increase in the sp was due to the refinance. When it’s just the trial update the sp falls.

So now we are back to the ceo telling us how good the next trial will be.

Which is hardly surprising as more funds will likely be needed in the next 12 months .

Strange deleted or altered comments speculating on fast track acceptance and NASA’s listings and deals about to be announced at any moment new brokers and any other snippets to be turned into proof positive that AVCT has cracked it.

Which to date on every single bit of tech they have developed has resulted in nada.

So the waiting game goes on but I don’t think you can blame AIM for the current lack of interest as we have all been here many times before

I agree with you Yeb, but the sp rose imo based on the new financing and the new bod members. This has bought AVCT time. CC then dangled deals in the not to distant future.

AVCT are now walking the tightrope of delivering this with the cost of the current and projected trials.

The presentation had better be fleshy and nt just more hyperbole.

Its finely balanced at the moment with a close above 24 or ideally 25p to suggest the downtrend has finished. Part of that positive interpretation is the 3 time-test on .22p which has held.

The downside is that there is a double bottom in place, which if .22p is breached suggests a fall to .19p at least.

hard to say which way it will go as trading is likely to fall away quite sharply now until the end of the year....

The lack of any sales based RNS since the design win so many months ago does not bode well. Maybe a rabbit will appear but if not, this for me, is a new lowering of an already very low bar of how deceitful a BoD can be in projecting a completely false narrative in their utterings.

We will see.

Kid, I don't know if you are right or not but the scale of DH's holding suggests more than an investor expecting a good return. Once you get over 5% somethings likely to be afoot.

Given he seems to have no direct exp in the industry I agree some other motive for such a big holding in what is still a very high risk punt, seems more likely than not.

You say Flip Flop, i say i am a trader and therefore my timeframes are shorter, however when you look at the chart over the last 5 years or so its been a very volatile stock with many sharp turns in the SP. In other words the market has flipped flop too.

What virtue has there been for the investor here not to try and move with the market?

I am pretty transparent with my views and not deceitful as some here who admit that they trade while banging on with nothing but hyperbolic posts of success being just about to happen literally any and every day.

Still, you can say and feel what you like, my bank balance reflects positively my "flip flopping" so given we are all trying to make money by buying AVCT stock, its not been the worst strategy has it?

Given there is no treatment then the bar could not be any lower. Also the market knows it “works “ .So what is expected?

I think it needs to be very clear that the results are so good that it shows how effective the tech is and the potential to transfer across to other cancers.

If it’s just good/progress then it might cause a dip as future trial results for p1b will probably be “written off” and the market waits for next years trial.

I think this will be very good news for sgc patients but it remains to be seen how the market will react, hence the muted price action prior to the reveal
