"PS. Day traders watch & play the SP they are not interested in company fundamentals . ( very few become milionaires and suspect majority will lose money trading stocks ) albeit we do have a " super AVCT SP trader " who pops in now & again , boasts about making trading profits but also keeps asking why ? why? why? is the SP not moving ? . Seems to confuse comparing " SP " with AVCT asset potential market value"
((I did not ask why the SP was where it was but responded to another poster who asked that question, which if you only read this BB, you would think it odd, btw.)
All here want to be in profit from when they bought, to when they sell, whatever the time frame. Hopefully thats not remotely contentious.
Potential value....well, that's the 65m dollar statement. If all goes well over the next few years then yes. But its an "if "at the moment.
The company fundamentals today are a company with promising new tech undergoing the first human trials that is also loss making and probably will need a cash raise in the coming 12 months.
Therefore with a number of variables (including time, which is often overlooked as a key metric) that could dramatically transform the SP either up or down, more active short term buying and selling is simply another strategy to make money (which again, is the aim of all here).
Personally fwiw I think the SP (and have said this for the last few weeks), has bottomed and the current SP, unless the trial reports bad news (and at present there is nothing to suggest this will be the case), looks to be at a low give or take.
If thats right, then the next move up should be on supportive news as opposed to rumour.
So now its a case to see how this pans out but any look at the SP graph has shown plenty of quite big percentage moves over the last 24-30 months and has been in fact a profitable stock to trade intermittently even though its hardly moved overall in that timeframe.
