(I bought back in late in the day for today. I am less certain of how events will unfold but agree there may a bit more to come. I borrowed the money this time from a different stock holding in a different account that I think can wait a few days if necessary before returning it to his home.)

DD, Reverses are notoriously hard to spot. (lots of false signals etc)

We have just recently broken a new support and moved the low down further. I agree that there are tentative signs of a reversal, however the chart itself is not imo "very good" and to buy now based on a reversal would be a high risk strategy.

You would need more confirming SP rises to start to sway the argument that a reversal is under way (just my opinion, dyor)

DGU, I know I harp on a lot about this but over the years my experience has taught me to disconnect the SP from the company. I understand some look at the criteria of investing in the company. However my view is once the IPO is done then all the buying and selling that ever happens afterwards does not have anything to do with the company.

This method makes it easier to divorce yourself from the company and as result its less likely you become emotionally attached to it.

So EVE had been drip falling since the RNS on very low volume. I had expected days like yesterday (wild big swings) to be relatively commonplace and was surprised at how "dead" the activity was.

However yesterday felt different straight away as the SP was starting to rise and Vern was also confirming the uptick in activity so I made a snap decision. (Actually that had been according to HL, a few blue moments in the last few trading sessions which to me indicated maybe a move was coming.

It all gets a bit intuitive, but ultimately its based on experience I guess, and I thought yesterday was going to spark. As it turned out, it did.

Timing is everything and that is all about the SP at any given time, which is yet another reason why thats my area of focus and not the specific company.

Ha! yes its a weird one! but if it does work then it's worth conservatively 5-10 times what it is now.

HE1 the same, valued at £50m and basically until it discovers Helium its worthless...but if it does.....

As long as no one over invests in any stocks then the worse that can happen should only be an "ouch" rather than a banshee wail of pain... (too much?)

(As for the covid side of things they jumped on the bandwagon and I was fortunate to ride it up and get off at the right time, so all in all even though it has a chequered history over the last couple of years its turned out to be a good earner for me.)

Aim, its all about timing. Again , I don't "care" about the company, just the SP.

Today i made 40% on a company i had no intention of trading but things changed, so, so did I.

The AVCT SP feels ready to move up now. I think a bottom is in place and therefore the downside is (imo) ltd.

Who knows what will happen, but I have stops ready in place so that if i am wrong I should not loose too much.

Anyway, today has been a better day for many here and hopefully it will continue.

DGU ,Its Avacta (AVCT), and I got back in at 2% more than I sold (mainly due to the spread), but it had ticked up a penny.

Its been a "Jam tomorrow " company for quite a little while now but the trial has been going pretty well by all accounts, and it will be verified in the next couple of months but, the SP could/should move before then. It feels like a head of steam has been brewing and the SP has not moved much so the pressure is there, (imo) but I think it could move quite sharply any time.

Anyway. we will see, its always got two choices.

But here today has been the first day of upward momentum reversing the depressing weeks of downward pressure. Lets hope there is substance behind it.

I had to " borrow" the money from another stock I am holding that "feels" (how scientific!), ready to move so I decided to put the money back into it but obviously got a few extra shares now from this brief foray.

cashed out for a quick 40% profit as it seems to have settled for now and this has got a rep of moving on little or nothing.

spread is fairly tight actually (by EVE standards) on dummy buys and sells

small top up at this level on the retrace. Its a high risk trade hence the small amount.

heres the pull back..... see if it holds

I wont buy more at the moment, I was tempted at 50% gain to offload half but I like 1.65p as a target right now.

When its like this I react quite quickly. I had no intention whatsoever of buying let alone buying today.

So I'll see how this plays out over the next few hours.

looks like 1.5p has put the brakes on. see how tough this celling is. if it goes then 1.65p is next

its moving very fast now.

I wonder if this smoke has fire?

i'm not sure how important the chart is at the moment but 1.05p/1.07p is a resistance so it will be interesting to see if it clears that now. if it does then 1.5p hoves into view.

Greg, I expressed my opinion which has been argued against here with alternative views.

If the SP is going to go up and I think i can make some money then I will change my view.

I got in at .84p, so we will see. Vern has been helpful (to me) in the updates on the buying trend.

I have no problem turning on a dime.
