stevie, so my single cog having identified 127p as a resistance point allowed me to sell some when it failed to break through and since then in the last 3 weeks its fallen over 25%. I am going to buy some more now at 94p.

Onwards Avacta (i'm sure if we all say that enough that will affect the SP in a positive manner.)

So HG, the SP was relevant to you today? I mean you could have bought last week at 109p and be £4k down.

I have blown hot and cold on this stock as it has gone up and down. Largely I have been in front of these moves and profited from it.

For most this stock has been an expensive waste of time. (By that I mean they may have bought 2 years ago at a far higher price than where it is now.)

As it turns out I have been broadly right on this stock's fortunes ahead of the market.

On other plays I have lost some money. That is the nature of trading. Obviously due to the small mindedness of some here they keep harking on (inaccurately ) about 3 stocks. I typically trade 10-15 times a week on a whole variety of stocks.

I ask for posts to be removed that have nothing to do with AVCT and are simply being insulting and spreading lies about me. Its an attempt to bully or cancel and I object to that.

Of course I change my tune to suit my trading! If I think the stock will rise I buy. What I do here is say that and explain why. Then if I think things are not panning out as I previously thought and expect the SP to fall back I sell and often post that as well. Whats wrong with that?

Why is my life little just because I buy and sell shares? Why is my life smaller than yours? Who do you think you are to comment with your snobbish remarks and superior attitude?

I only claim I got it "right" as you say because its the only defence I have when attacked in the way you are doing now, to highlight that I am not either disruptive of a fear monger.

You seem to forget this is just a stock SP's move up and down every day. To be able to sometimes time it right to sell high and then buy low seems to be against your "rules" on this BB?

I have been constantly buying this stock and have posted so since just before and during the recent all time lows. How is that spreading fear?

You confuse my interest in the SP with Avacta the company. I don't know how many more times to explain that and can only imagine you are either incapable of understanding that or deliberately wish to carry spreading misinformation about me.

But one day the penny might drop that whatever is said here makes no difference to the SP or the outcome of the trial, or indeed any of Avacta's fortunes.

The other thing DGU, is to bear in mind that while EVE may have little or no choice in raising their prices, under normal conditions you forgo some sales when introducing price hikes.

The thinking obviously is that the improved profit per item counteracts the reduction in sales as inevitably some prospective buyers are forced to look elsewhere.

Remember there is no cap on energy prices for business like there is for consumers either.

I think your conclusions are too optimistic based on the RNS that EVE submitted.

We are both using the available info to draw different conclusions.

Some here, I imagine wish they had not invested quite so much and for so long in EVE.

If that is true, then they may have learnt some painful lessons that they might want to make others aware of in the future on other stocks.

That get its for me, to a minimum of £20m per annum. I am not sure of fixed overheads and overall profit margins but to give it wiggle room then £15m I would have thought would be an absolute floor.

(Remember I don't trust BoD's statements and built in for me, therefore, is a more likely worse case scenario than best case.

But thats me. But it is based on past experience iand even if you discount that, then in this specific case, CC herself, always failing to meet targets over the last few years.

Ii would be reasonable that any cost saving measures that were not already in place are now, to eke out the cash burn for as long as possible.

If it turns out they release another RNS saying sales decline as been arrested or has slowed considerably then I change my view.

The nub is, i saw the last RNS as a prelude that, if nothing changes, EVE are going bust. Others here don't, and I don't think either party are going to change their view if no further info is forthcoming.

I don't "know" anything however, I can't quite get my head around the positivity here of a company so soon after saying things were progressing ok (albeit at a slower pace than previously forecast ), offers a solution to their finances as to put the business up for sale.

This suggests to me, that things are pretty bad in terms of cash burn.

I keep coming back to the point that if they saw a more positive outcome, with a change of tack of outgoings etc, the RNS could have and should have been worded differently.

I think if they had a business model that could be tweaked as maybe your plan B example, then that would be put to the banks and they would continue without the drastic RNS that was released.

I don't know, its just a waiting game now, but maybe sales have rallied and things are going to be better than they thought when they released the RNS?
