No I'm not denying it ripley, as I have referred to that particular trade in the past. However, if some posters are going to cherry pick my trades then acknowledge how successful my other avacta's ones have been. (but you won't of course ), But for some reason you are absolutely obsessed with my trading for reasons I can't fathom.)

But if you are going to refer to the the rise to 185p then that also means I would have had to have seen the 185p as a top and I did not (based on the charts, as again I have already acknowledged that I saw the chance of further gains more likely than falls. (Quite why you are so happy the SP has collapsed again is also weird.)

(I have bought more at 111p based on the so far support around that number. just in case it matters that much to you.)

The up shot is right now, my buy-in with the proceeds to Harl would have left me in greater profit had I left it in AVCT. But it is only about 12% away from that trade sale price .. And fwiw, as I see greater potential in Harl presently then AVCt so as I have several stocks that I trade in nd out of at any given time, Ihave I moved some trading funds around to see if that pays off.

Who knows, maybe it will be a profitable transfer, maybe it won't? and apart from you and derby, who bloody cares?

Its a game for me, a hobby, I can comfortably afford to lose the lot, you worry about it a lot more than I do.

Derby, when I said I could not see AVCt going anywhere anytime soon, it was based on belief there was a delay coming and the possibility of a further cohort. The SP now is about 10% higher than it was then. But it was not advice as you well know, it was just my opinion, just as everything else posted here is when forward thinking.

As for FUD I think (just my opinion) a buy out is imminent hence the talk of "better coms" soon.

If you see that as FUD you are going to have help me out a bit. I presume FUD is simply anything you disagree with?

This is the "who knows" bit, but given the recent posts here about personal communications with AS, it read to me as though he was disapp0inted about the current SP but ultimately not concerned.

Two options.

One: he really, really doesn't care about the Shareholders

Two: the die is already cast.

This is just speculation obviously, but coms have been poor for ever, and that has always been consistent with disappointing news.

However we are now in a position where there are delays but seemingly based on the tech working, and if anything beyond some people (outside of AVCT) expectations? And the trial news has only been positive from the the start.

I wonder if a deal was done based on it working sometime ago that if it did indeed meet expectation they would get first chance to bid on it?

This wild guesswork does have the merit of explaining the lack of coms, (And to me thats not nothing because it is such an easy oversight to correct and can be done immediately and yet it hasn't.)

I have toyed and voiced the idea of AS being a bit.... well, from Yorkshire... but ultimately that attitude would not wash with big investors. So, I can understand radio silence through the LFT time, as ultimately it failed in its commercial objectives, and there is never a good time to tell the market that, so you hold off as long as you can, which AVCT did, but now the opposite holds true. This should be shouted from the rooftops but deliberately isn't.

Anyway, its the weekend, and this sort of thing bugs me....Its a puzzle and therefore there is an answer, its just finding it.

if there has been a change in strategy and AVCT is no longer going to license out their tech I can only see 2 options.

One, there has been no interest thus far.
Two, its getting ready to be sold as a Big Phrma co. may want to have the whole thing for itself.

Am I missing other options?

good move today and did more than needed. might retrace to 14.75p, might not, but 17.3p is now in play as the next target.

(If it does retrace it should attract buyers to get in quickly as it could be seen as a "last chance" Us charters do like a bit of FOMO)

Oneknows, Its buyers that try to force the price down and sellers who try to force the SP up.

If the sellers had an ounce of backbone and did not give in to the horrible buyers asking to buy their shares cheap then the SP would rise and not fall.

As for people selling at 160p to hopefully buy in at a lower price that is not shorting. There is no borrowing of shares, its simply a sale, otherwise what do you want to do....ban the selling of shares? Only allow people to sell if they are not "thinking" of buying in lower? Ban them from buying in lower?

Last night the RSI closed at 36.24, so not oversold at all let alone adding "extremely" to the inaccuracy.

You would have thought 20 years ago that M&S or Lloyds etc etc would be rock solid.

But hi tech potential disruptors are very high risk. For every success there are many other failures. Picking the right one is really mostly luck.
They all have the potential when buying in at the bottom, but at that price the future is very uncertain.

I think AVCT is slightly different in as much as its further along, but the current risks or at least uncertainties, are funding both short and long term but more unquantifiably, is the longevity of the tech itself, which none of us know. Could decades, could be a few years....

Its a different view but in a high risk stock its well... high risk i guess.

On AVCT particularly, I don't know how you gauge what a "fair" price is.

I don't know how you gauge the timescale for fruition of your strategy and I don't know how you (at this stage) gauge an exit price.

With those absolutely fundamental parts of the (return on investment) puzzle being shrouded in nothing but guesswork It's nothing more (to me) than a gamble. Hence the diversification and attempts to trade and snatch some profits here and there along the way. But whatever system any and all use, good luck

Its this misconception that its all or nothing which I find odd that so many here can't grasp.

Also the SP was 142 nearly 12 month ago (mid April) and there have been numerous RNS's out and yet the SP is 113p today so the whole "RNS blows it out of the water argument is not as strong as you think.

And the reason why, is the old adage of "buy on the rumour, sell on the news". What that actually means is that the SP rises before the official confirmation is released meaning that the SP action (or TA) is pointing towards rises PRIOR to the the RNS.

(And not for nothing all sized companies astound the market regularly)

It just depends on what your investment objectives are. I don't know what you expect from AVCT in terms of appreciation per year.

Personally I am happy if overall I am up by 15% each year as that compounds very quickly.

I find TA helps more often than not to time entry and exit. Others don't, c'est la vie

Well, derby go over to that BB and read it.

The support is holding so far (108p-111p) and it has had a few goes at breaking it. (The more it resists the stronger the support becomes. The downside is that if a strong support goes then it usually heralds bigger falls to come.)

However, the RSI has made a reversal pattern so a close above 118p would add further weight to this potential reversal being more likely to hold.

Difficult (for me) to put odds on it. just on the SP, its in a recent trading range of 109p-118p so you would wait to see if it breaks up or down. But the upwards RSI pattern puts more weight to the upside happening.

The various bounce off's within the SP support areas looks to have attracted buyers wanting to get in tight to the support prices. If it can close now above 118p then it should attract further buyers who recognise these type of signals.

well, the one thing he didn't mention in his list was has DE5 started yet (and if not why not and if not, when.?)

in my opinion that is what has caused the SP sell off. because that uncertainty leads directly then on to cash flow/funds.

Presently there would seem to be plenty in the coffers but it has already gone over by 7 months (mis summer) and if it has not started, does that mean now Q4 before 1b starts?

So now its 2024 and there is only enough money for the next 6 months (because you don't leave it until the last month/penny in the account before you raise some more.)

Well i can do two things at once, I can understand company accounts and the fundamentals as well as using TA.

And I am not bothered as to what happens with Harl (I can't influence it and I won't know whats going on inside the company until they reveal it). All I have is a betting slip that I hope to cash in on at a profit later.
