Where was MTD the plan? If it was, why it was unexpected at the end of DE4?

So let me understand. AS says at the outset its 4 DE's So where did MTD come from? whos' idea was that? It wasn't AS's as he said partway through the trial that MTD may never be reached enforcing at the time a belief the trial would be cut short and not even a DE4. Remember that?

So then at the end of DE4, out of the clear blue sky, comes a contradiction that now it seems a MTD is required, which could be mean 2 or even 3 further DE's.

So, who's idea was that,PL? Clearly Not AS's ,so have a go would you and actually for once, just once, break the habit of a lifetime and try and think for yourself rather than swallow every bit of garbage you are fed in that unthinking dumb way that you seem always to do.

The trial, both stages, was originally forecast to finish in 3 months. We are years behind schedule.

It leads on to other things of course, but lets not rush it. It seems you can only think i step behind so try and catch up and let me know who's idea was it to change at the very last minute when the safety aspect was meant to be finished and the big part next (the efficacy treatment) was due to begin. After all the trial gad been going 15 months already with 3 previous DE's so you would have thought during that time maybe this might have been an option. But no, apparently not.

RAH this is the counter argument. (Just for a different perspective).

Its not AS, its all CEO's on PLC's. They simply will always exaggerate and if necessary deceive. They cannot in any public statement, do anything but paint the very best picture. They won't lie, and if they can't get around that they won't talk at all. (hence silence). So, its not AS per se, but I dismiss pretty much all they say, because its not reliable enough to bet on. So the confidence of AS is pretty meaning less, as any accurate guide to the future (imo)

This seems to work with all the evidence that has been produced over many years now, but the 2 potential road blocks are the time it takes to actually monitise the tech. It feels it is still years away? (at least 2 maybe 3? Happy for you to comment).

And then there is the longevity of the tech given advancements elsewhere where they are trying to bypass chemical injections altogether.

Given the equally slow nature of new tech I think AVCT will have a market but time is of the essence to capitalise on this.

The recent RNS's and interviews etc, suggest to me they are trying to get back in control of timelines given I still think it was a major setback in the DE5 extension, (which could go to a DE7! Who forecasted that scenario?)

So, yes it works, but that's not necessarily the biggest hurdle anymore.

The most likely outcome in the near term (6-12 months) is SP appreciation but where to, is much harder to predict I think.

Look at this way, there are 100's of trials going on now, many of these will be redundant when our tech comes to market. As well as the treatments currently being used.

Its a race and the assumption there is no alternative to what AVCT might bring to market years down the track is simply part of the risk profile.

Again, recognising these risks does not mean it has to be a "well, sell up then" all or nothing solution.

Ice, the thing that many here don't seem to put any weight on in terms of risk, is the time.

Yet another release of a new medicine to combat breast cancer was publicised only yesterday.

They are not on the scale of what AVCT is doing but two things: One, these new procedures eat into the overall market that AVCt is aiming for, and in another 2-3 years, yet more treatments will be available.

Time is THE enemy in my mind, and therefore the greatest risk to the project.

If this new reported news flow is sustained it points to me, even more of a likely hood of a buy out as the way forward, as it will look to me as though AVCT is deliberately putting itself in the shop window in a way it has not done before.

I get the burst of enthuisaim, but if we go to DE7 then we are really strecthing out timescales again. We would be looking maybe q1 for b21 to start and then after that we have to wait for the 2nd part of the trial.

So its stating to look 18 months -2 years away. There should be lots of good news on the way but this is still quite a ways off based on what was said in the interview I think.

well, that's one way of re-writing history.

The trail was not progressing. It was held up waiting for a new protocol to be arranged and signed off. At the time, through the no-news period, it was uncertain if the 5th DE had started or not (certainly for some on this BB anyway). Only now has it been confirmed that in fact it hadn't for some months as some thought it had been going from Jan, and the reasons why.

The market does not like uncertainty. (Plus when AVCT goes quiet it is historically because there have been delays.)

The insecurity of some on this BB is something to behold.

Well, all I have acknowledged is that it is a possibility and adds a little to the risk profile but for any that think this is completely fanciful, then we have the very recent Co2 Emissions scandal where some of the big(gest) motor manufacturers were found to have deliberately put in and invented new software into their cars to falsify MPG /Co2 ratios.

Remember this was not an accident. It was because the EU had passed legislation forcing them to meet these new regulations and when some couldn't, they simply broke the law and hoped not to be found out because of the huge financial implications of failing to meet these new requirements.

Screw the customer, screw the law, and screw the environment.

Exactly where is all this stock coming from to supress the price? What evidence do you have that this is taking place other than wishful thinking?

By supressing the price all that does is stimulate more demand to buy, so again where does this stock come from to supply all these buys?

Why does the MM care? why not push the price up and fill the order while reflecting demand, rather than practise illegal activity?

BU, I mentioned this time ago as a potential risk/delay to be considered. However I think the difference here as opposed to Big Oil say, is that this would be much stronger emotional pull if made more public as to the breakthrough that this is, and how it would save so many lives.

Ultimately the potential bad publicity if Big Pharma could be seen to be slowing this down would be immense.

But who knows what pull they have behind the scenes. For instance this unexpected 5th DE, who's idea was that?

I think it naive to believe dirty tricks could not be employed when so much money is at stake.

I presume if AVCT felt that there were unfounded delays being foistered on them they would have to go more public to air their concerns.

But at this stage, today is just a positive step and as I said earlier I think positively re-frames the TU at the ned of this month.

this puts the April update in a much more positive light.

I wonder if there will be time (between then and now) to mention at all, how this cohort is performing.

Kaeren, I think sentiment is just another word for charting or TA. Anyway imo, its pretty choppy with 18p next after 17.25p which is very close but I would expect a pause for breath in and around those levels with 20p being the next point to aim for.

Thing about TA is, that what I think is likely today, could alter by the close today. So the trick is to be aware that its an odds game and not to predict what will happen but just to be aware of what you think most likely to unfold and to react to certain prices as and when it does, whether that confirms or confounds previous thoughts.

AVCT should clarify whats currently going on. I have no feel for how it will go, historically it will be more delays... Hopefully LD will be an area of good news but I would just love a buyout (300p would do!) now as this is a serial disappointer which is so frustrating when the tech is so promising.

Harl is very early days but at least has huge upside potential.

I think there will be loads of new info. For a start its a results presentation, so cash flow/burn, LD performance, money on hand etc will all be announced. The start of the year will also be addressed to see if the cash burn is accelerating/maintaining or falling from last year.

This in turn will indicate if more cash will be required to see this through. Hopefully not.

Given its a months notice just about suggests they are leaving it as late as possible. This can be interpreted how you like, good or bad, but I imagine it will be impossible not to mention the state of the ongoing trial given it will have been months since the extra DE5 extension.

Hi Guys, Angle disappointed after the wait for FDA approval. Still at leat there was an oportunity to make mony in the expectation.

Right now 219.5p is a support/resistance, with maybe 22.5-23.5p as a target. The big target would be 30p which is a fair way from her (50% gain potential).

Right now my money is tied up and working ok , so I am not tempted by this one currently.
