RE: I wonder...3 May 2023 11:54
sure, but... its AVCT's aim to do a lot more in this field. As for loss making, again, maybe not. "Materially" better 2nd half coming up.
Borrow £15m at 10% interest. should be self financing?
I guess the point is, if AVCT do want to expand this area of the business then they are going to have to acquire other companies.
This looks potentially cheap,(sorry good value)
I agree with you both about the downside, but AVCT did highlight this in the recent update, so I think its on their radar to continue to build and I got the impression (possibly incorrecttly), that it would be sooner rather than later.
If that is right (i know, if , if , if,), then I think it would have to be self financing and it could be a loan rather than a share raise and therefore not to much of a distraction from TX.
I also think the TX thing is pretty much done in as much as its about administration right now through this and the next part of the trial, rather than development, so it might not be taking up so much of AVCT's resources as we assume?
Going forward if TX does get bought out as a separate entity then it allows AVCT to fall back on the more developed DX business.
Lots of speculation obviously, but I can see a potential route through on this one. (It would also account for a depressed SP if the market thinks there is something going on. Although that is a reach, I know.)
