Well there you go, one assumption built on another to come to a conclusion that when that criteria is used, is almost always the wrong one.

It just amazes me on these very amateurish BB's, some posters put so much store as to what is posted on them.

we all make assumptions and often to explain our own bias.

I try to do the opposite and face potentially "uncomfortable" outcomes. It helps me focus on the risk.

Oh... No I sold out as soon as I could (8:01!) on the duster. I think it was at a penny so ultimately rather than wait any further it turned out to be the right decision.

Still took a pill though, but thats the nature of these "investments"

The market (I think) is pretty good as assigning risk through the SP, to any particular venture.

Roger it may have influenced you, but your reaction did not affect the SP.

And as harsh as it may sound if your are influenced by these BB's then don't read them. And as I say, it underlines a lack of a coherent plan when the individual first bought the stock, if that plan can be undermined by listening to a stranger who ultimately is only offering an opinion, not any facts.

Roger "They" can attempt all they like but it does not follow that they will be have any affect.

Cyber, I am happy to see this through, however, I hope you are aware AIM companies do go bust.

They are close to having to raise cash to stay in business. Who and how much would anyone want to contribute (yet again) to a 2 drill failure to allow them to carry on to try in less favourable areas?)

I am just trying to highlight the risk involved in this, that often gets overlooked in this BB.

This is a very very high risk binary play with a company that is close to being bankrupt and whose entire fate rests on a successful drill.

To think anyone who posts here affects the SP is delusional.

There are not big enough share holders here that if they did sell would move the dial. And even if there were they would not base their decisions on the musing of anyone on this BB.

You look at the info, you make your choice and you either stick with it or you don't. If anyone her (or elsewhere) is influenced by anything anyone says here then they should not be managing their own portfolio.

There is nothing wrong with taking on board different takes on the situation and maybe recognising that that was a view you hadn't thought of and react accordingly but it is only an opinion.

I agree with you I too was surprised with the ferry decision, for the same reasons, but at the same time figure that HARL must expect the financial resources to be in place to mount such a bid. That is the "reading between the lines" bit for me.

I think IM is more complicated and I am still of the view that it is more likely than not that this will be sold off hence the lack of news in developing it. At the same time I think that then is contingent on the finance loan offer.

I think it was mentioned that HARL has received interest in IM so I that's the basis of my reasoning.

I would like tot think we might get news just prior to the results but in any event I expect there will be an update in and around that time.

The market can't react without knowing about the finance package as it is now the big thing to be resolved.

We do know (apparently) that there is a finance offer available but that HARL are trying to negotiate a better one. I see the JR outcome as the catalyst for the "better" deal.

This in turn (I also think) will spark a flurry of order confirmations.

The downer in my experience is that nothing ever seems to work quickly, it always seems to drag on and on... but, surely by now we have sucked up the "longer than expected" bit...

FWIW its retraced to the previous strong resistance point of around 15p so it will be positive if it moves up from here. I think the odds are in favour of a rise today. (dyor etc)

Ripley, I am glad at last the penny dropped as I constantly said when I was specifically accused of clogging up this BB, it was actually caused by your and others at the time, relentless attacks on me, which caused me to respond.

I said then as I say now, if you ignore posting personal observations then all of a sudden it quietens down.

As for PL75, I would remind him this is an investment BB so to talk about areas things that might affect market sentiment and the SP is a perfectly valid topic for discussion.

Just talking about some peoples views on the science of which they have no idea what is going on in ant sort of detail, might be interesting to some but not all given there is never a scintilla of agreement between these knowladgible souls.

So perhaps as you say buy it and forget about this one ....which I don't know... think I made that point some time ago too. (£200 before christmas ex china of 2 years ago was one of your "amusing" quips as I recall.)

It means the SP will move up sharply. Clearly you have no interest in the SP as to how you can at least try to maximise gains.

Yes, if an offer comes in whatever that offer is, will then be reflected in the SP. However.. (jeeze even I can't believe I m having to say this, but you did ask), ... as P1b comes closer to starting (ie when P1a finishes) then the buying will start in anticipation of a potential offer.

So if this is announced as the last DE I expect a sharp upward move. At the moment my take is the market is not expecting any new news soon.

Except BV my understanding of this stock and it likely SP to reflect that, have been thus far spot on.

8 months ago I said this was going nowhere. (at least for 6 months) Yes there was a great spike but as I seem to be the only one that trades this share then that spike is an irrelevance. (You can't have it both ways that your long term holder but then desperately hang on to an unsistained jump in the SP.)

If we have a DE7 and I think is looking likely but if we do, then I can't the SP doing any more than, at best staying where we are now or more likely a 10-20% fall off from here.

If we don't and 6 is it, then game on but if the SP is indicative then DE6 has a way to go and/or 7 is coming.

The thing you must never forget is that AVCT have no interest in the SP or the share holder. Their focus is to get this done, win or lose. If the SP falls to 10p before they hit the motherload they won't care.

And thats fine, its just that they are not guaranteed to hit the motherload.

Still I am sure over the coming days and weeks the more astute here will be saying broadly the same thing.

See, this is interesting now; according to GJ and bitl, efficacy is not proven yet. its all about P1b..

And yet I am sure I have been sand blasted to mention such a thing that efficacy is as yet, unproven.

So all of that "Therapeutic" and "remarkable" remarks AS has made don't actually count as evidence after all?

More like something is happening but we need .... wait for it.... more data through more DE's than anticipated to then spend months analysing the data before going to P1b?

Its not me (in fact) that does not understand the highly complex and complicated nature of what is being attempted here but in fact most others that are so quick to only assume positives outcomes on either tenuous linkage or just downright wishful thinking.

BP is clearly not convinced as of today. So think about that in relation to all the SD's, DE's results, AS interviews and RNS's et al, as we approach Q4 and potentially another DE.

This, like every other BIo stock trying to do something novel, is one where the investor should never be remotely over committed to.

You read (on any given day) the diverse opinions of this BB and the dot joining that goes with it and its quite something.

Just now, apparently, we are finished/finishing P1a, bypassing P1b and going straight to 2, deciding where the successful platform is going to be mass produced and for every post that says thats whats happening, there a load of posts saying the complete opposite.

There is the never ending inane posts from Hurst10 that do actually almost always, coincide with then falls in the SP... (I can't be the only one that has noticed this? the irony is wonderful).

It often then follows some poster congratulating the board in general for really good informative threads. (That also always makes me smile too)

I suppose my point is, people post on here to pass the time and while I completely understand that (which is why I do too), I don't get why it gets so personal, just because its a view not agreed with?

Maybe its because the optimistic positive guesses that abound and seem to be tolerated and agreed with, have never been right and there are just a lot of cumudgons on this BB?

Anyway, this is going to most likely be a pretty long haul yet if history is anything to go by as this stock has turned into a bit of a mirage in that it seems to get closer every day but in reality gets further away than ever from delivering

Hopefully this won't be the case, but if there is to be 7th DE then that could be completed December/january and with 2 months (or so knowing AS's timelines) for assessment we could be looking at Q2 for P1b. to start. And in that 6 months another couple or so of bond sells and cash burn.

Fingers crossed the DX companies are making healthy profits.

Anyway late September should reveal a bit more financial detail, and maybe one day this company will surprise to the upside. Keep smiling.
