I am not particularly impressed that we had a raise at 5.5p or whatever it was to do this drill and then a few weeks before we have another one basically do the same thing, but hey ho, thems the breaks

I agree, but I think the market tends to be much more cautious and will want to see a bit of head room in the P/L .

It clearly has been going in the right direction but ultimately they want to see it cash flow positive I think.

I don't get all this enthusiasm if this drill fails that somehow the 2nd drill will save the SP?

If this fails it will tank. There would be "hope" for the next one but the SP imo would stay in "tank mode" if and until a discovery was made on the 2nd one.

This fund raise has as far as I can see just about kept the lights on to complete this drill. The 2nd one is important only if this one works. (imp dyor etc)

I think the market is just waiting for confirmation of cash flow and assuming its improved enough it will remove any likely further necessity for a raise.

Hi Triplestar, It could have been a price that got it away, whereas had HE1 been "greedy" at say, 8p maybe less take up and big knock of confidence?

My take is that its reassuring its been over subscribed. (that was my fear yesterday that it might not be).

It looks as though they had zero money left in the coffers and had no choice.

The opportunity for a second drill will be very welcome IF the first drill is successful.

It looks again that IF the first drill is successful then there is enough money to clearly catgorise exactly how much commercial helium is present.

Ultimately it was either going to come now or just after a first "successful" drill.

I think doing it this early removes the immediate pressure on the SP (although we will have to see how it reacts today) as it has introduced some working capital, but doing it now has probably increased the dilution rather than waiting but as I said up top the may had have no choice due to the money on hand.

This is relatively small beer so again there will be more funds needed but IF successful then they may be more options rather than continual dilution.

If the most favourable well should fail it hardly de-risks the next one !

Interesting that they will get 2nd drill done this year too?

Sounds as soon as the first drill is done they will up stumps and move off to see if the 2nd one is successful and then come back to do more analysis?

It all depends now in the short term if the market likes this or not.

Tomorrow (its always tomorrow), will perhaps shed more light on events.

Unfortunately the more someone digs a hold the harder it can be to say maybe "perhaps I over reacted, I apologise"

It just seems unnecessary given the uncertain nature of SP movements to be so forthright in ones own view to the exclusion of other views.

Its just I don't know what wolfy's motives are.

I think, you think they are deliberately trying to deceive people and I suppose by implication lying and not believing in what he actually posts.

And further therefore, he is attempting to get people to sell so that the SP falls to such a level he decides to buy back in.

Quite a lot of assumptions here that are somewhat undermined by the fact that he has been correct in forecasting a fall. Which might mean he was not trying to deceive?

Then you have to assume that this BB with some people selling over several weeks, have driven the SP down to this level and that what posted here does affect the SP. (which makes Skit's theory completely wrong as the fall has been down to wolfy and panicking others here to sell)

But then, given there are more positive SP posts here than negative, surely that would drive the SP up?

An alternative theory could be he is not sure what's going to occur but on balance has thought the risk currently outweighed the reward and posted his genuine thoughts?

How are we to know which one is true? Why assume that he is being deceitful?

People (generally and in the main in my experience) , usually try and help each other. So i assume until I find out for sure differently, is that he just expressing his opinion in good faith.

It surely is Roge, Its just that to criticise somebody for ultimately being correct seems somewhat unfair?

The best you could say perhaps, that it was a lucky guess, but then that would be the same if it went up to.

Which brings us back to the point is that none of us know what is going to happen so all these BB's do(I think) is help pass the time. Which in turn hopefully means we don't need to get personal or too upset with any particular view?

But had people sold at 10.4p would not that have been a good thing based on the SP now?

Hi Skips, I agree its immaterial if you want to stay the course but if you are trying to time your entry then its somewhat galling to pay at say, 8p and then find you could have bought a couple of days later for 6.5p

I certainly see the logic of the analysis there being a large, single seller. And I also agree that for new buyers they would need some reassurance that the selling had stopped, so I guess some tentative buys, if not followed by falls, might encourage others to take a dip.

However there is also a possibility that a raise is on the cards too....

I think my point is Dai, is that us Pi's know actually very little and I am all for sharing ideas and thoughts but always we have to remember they are just ideas and assumptions and personally I don't think we know anything that the market hasn't already known previously.

I always remember some years ago now, that big trading houses in the US were literally building tunnels through mountain ranges just so they could run their internet connection to the exchanges to get a fraction of a second advantage over others so as to be able to execute arbitrage deals.

When one considers the money these house will spend to have any sort of incremental advantage only highlights the disadvantage us PI's are at.

(fwiw) thats why i have a very short timescale to buys and purchases.

This particular stock is sort of ok inasmuch as if HE1 strike helium the SP will go up and they can't interfere with that. So I can wait for that happy day to arrive :0))

Well there you go, one assumption built on another to come to a conclusion that when that criteria is used, is almost always the wrong one.

It just amazes me on these very amateurish BB's, some posters put so much store as to what is posted on them.

Thats true Broom, it's only what i see and hear via the news. (I though Sinn fein were the largest party by some margin though and increasing their share of the vote?)

Anyway, fingers crossed we get the positive news we all crave to get the SP moving again.
