RE: Notes From Under The Oak Tree15 May 2025 16:08
I think it would be far to say any long term holders holders would not be happy with DEC, due to share decline and failed promises. Add to this the share price is unlikely to reach previous highs.
New entrants into DEC would be optimistic as current price isn't really that reflective of the business and dividend levels.
I do find ACE input concerning, as all 3 metrics of free cash flow per share, share price and management have been in decline. Would the current maverick deal and extra headroom in free cash flow allow a more organise growth (or even sustainability) of the company, I certainly hope so.
I personally held a moderate holding in the past and was upset with the huge decline, but topped up massively during the drop before last. My overall position is currently positive but we need to stay above 10 for that to remain the case. I'm aiming for a Β£14-15, share price before cashing out and collecting health dividend along the way. I wouldn't want to be here when ARO issues arise again and we have a democrat goverment.
