Why would TG sign a PPA that wasn't commercially beneficial to the company after all the hassle and capital that has been spent to deliver power for the country of Botswana..That just doesn't make sense?
May be so they can talk about at the GM on the 30th .. I would think
Bot’s I guess that depends on pressure and quality of gas .. But I would think definitely for the fir 2 mw’s ..
Come on boys let’s not get to profit of doom like! Things are going in the right direction for once and yes .. more funding will be required .. but let’s keep on a positive vein it’s all to easy to float the negative vibes! Risk V reward … hopefully
Sounds like very good news! And a very short dewatering timescale! Things might finally be looking up! Well done TG and the team!
The whole viability of this project hinges on this….
Slacker ….what utter nonsense you talk and always have
Whilst I agree he looks to have the pedigree and experience to drag the company forward. I wait to hear his strategic view and implementation strategy to achieve this . Budd seemed well out his depth when it came to monetising their products …… It’s clear that there is a lag between bringing products to market and achieving enough sales to support the business. Again I would like to hear the CEO views on how to fund the business until meaningful sales are achieve. The share price has mirrored the poor management of the above issues.. But the products seem solid and the need and markets could be large if not massive.. so all is not lost! BUT THE JURY IS OUT…
Blinded*
@ bots (DONKEY) it called reading between the lines …. And is quite obvious to all but you ….but then that is true of so much involving you! Blind by the light springs to mind!
Bot's the reason Sekaname are now at 6mw..is that they were trying to be Jonny big balls back then with the demand for 97mw which give all that has gone on since the award would have sunk them.. so they sulked away and hid for 5 years and hoped people had forgotten them. Now they are back with the 6mw pilot to prove up their capabilities... on similar lines to Tlou, except Tlou are way ahead of them in game now ..... once proven not sure a Botswana PPA will matter as there are many Southern African countries in need of substantial power ..so exporting at a premium is an option
He's part of the same failing club.......nothing will change here, just another Parson's sham....... .IMHO
The spirt of your wife will never leave you Brad … if you want it it will be there .. all we ever have are memories everything else is immaterial
**** poor communication with shareholders .. **** poor money management, **** poor management both by the last ceo and the chairman .. no honest route to short term revenues .. has left them vulnerable to cash flow problem massive dilution and having to use the lender of last resort.. and there in a nutshell is why the share price is where it is .. will be interested in how the new ceo plans to holt this demise and address all of the above
Who care ‘s whether are or aren’t still up and running ..what is true is they aren’t attempting the 97mw PPA ….And have gone for a small 6mw .. Which suggests that TG approach was right in the first place. And having more than one minister at a ceremony suggests the old brown paper bags stuff rather than anything else.
What it does show is CBM is a live and well in Botswana and in the future will have a part to play in its power generation… which is in my view a very positive message for Tlou
I think none of us know what the real plans are for the company post first revenues. I for one would like to see a clear outlined path to the future and what the aims of the company are, more commonly known as a strategic view. It's all a bit smoke and mirrors at the moment and it's no wonder existing investors hold back when offered the opportunity through rights issues etc! It's not like they have had time to have a plan now is it!
Tell Me is there one company that Parsons have added any long term value to? no didn't think so... The guy has a strange ability to F everything up time after time.... then walk away as if it's not his fault... IMHO unbelievable Jeff!
The donk is a keyboard warrior… adds zero value to this board and never has done . His main and sad objective is to undermine anything that TG or the company do or achieve.. I blocked him when he was the donkey and have now block him under his latest guise .. life to short to read his utter nonsense!

They must be confidant that the dewatering won't take more than a few months then! i think they know more about the gas stuff than their letting on ? Hence the Doc piling in with his millions? or why else would you risk big bucks on a lame duck? Over to you donkey for your negative take on everything TLOU ;-)
Hot .. the reason he hasn’t mentioned the Chinese is because it might put a positive slant on the Tlou project.. which isn’t in his remit
