Does it seem odd that most are "Buys" today but the price is now down 1.21%

Two thoughts - Could the Fovio chip go in a smart TV which connects to your smart phone to provide home shopping ! Said to be 760million smart TVs by end 2018 so future sales must be high.

Assume all cars eventually must have DMS and they have heads up windscreen displays as another safety feature. What if one smart phone manufacturer controlled the DMS provider and the windscreen display. SM must be worth far more than 42p

The new Samsung Galaxy Note 9 has a battery with 21% more capacity.
In the new features it states:
" the Note 9 gets the same 12-megapixel dual-lens camera as the Galaxy S9 Plus that launched earlier this year, bringing with it an AI system that warns users if images are blurry or if the subject blinked.

Apple have a patent for an Augmented reality windscreen.

"In another news by Patently Apple, the Cupertino giant has filed a patent for an augmented reality windscreen that would turn a car windscreen into a large HUD (Heads Up Display).

According to Apple, the technology would work along with other sensors fitted in the car such as infrared cameras, ultrasonic sensors, depth cameras, GPS, radar devices and light beam scanning devices. The content would be overlayed on the windshield and would not block the driver’s view.

Maps would be displayed on the screen for better navigation and FaceTime video calls between cars could also be received on the screen. FaceTime would further help drivers communicate visually while driving.

“In some embodiments, an augmented reality display system included in a vehicle enables visual communication between an occupant of the vehicle and a remotely located user, including an occupant of a separate vehicle,” Apple writes.

"The patent application also includes Panicky Occupant Detection feature that would monitor the driver’s stress level by analyzing their body posture, body temperature, eye movement, eye blink rate, body gestures and heart rate. The recorded data would be displayed on the windscreen as per some factors."

Looks like Samsung & Apple going in the same direction with Apple including a health monitoring twist.

Re battery power. Phone just needs to be bigger.

Is the Fovio Chip limited to transport applications? Could a chip in a mobile phone, tablet or laptop not collect data on eye movement on screen, work out what you think about a product and market that, to you, based on your feedback. If it could do all this Samsung & Apple & Softbank may push the price to whatsapp levels.
