Did I not read that AIM companies cannot communicate information which would influence the selling price in the two months before results are announced. Saying 10,000 vehicles in the video is old news therefore not material to the selling price. If he had said we have 20,000 vehicles he could / would influence the price before the results. Same with Toyota & rail contracts

10000 vehicles, 40 hours per week, 48 weeks per year, 70km per hour = 1.344bn km per year. To be positive, if guardian has logged 1.3bn km it should be 2.6bn km next year as more vehicles are added.

Apple car hit from behind at junction. Sounds like the cars do not move a quick as expected at junctions. I assume the 1.3bn Km with cameras could help train Apple or Waymo cars on how to handle junctions better.

My calc was based on 5000 vehicles. But they would not have 5000 vehicles in year one !!!

It would not be hard for Waymo to work out how much data SEE may have. 2.75 years / 48 weeks /6 days per week/ 100,000km per vehicle = 1.375bn km.
What they did not know was 3.6m events or 262 events per year per vehicle (doing 100,000 miles per year) Nor did the insurance companies

Then I found a recent web page related to Automated driving in cities. It stated that Daimler and Bosch select Nvidia AI platform. Hence my question how do Nvidia monitor your eyes.

From SEE reports it looks like Caterpillar are contributing about £150 per machine in the mining sector. I assume this is per year. Reports state they have 3m machines in mining altogether. 10m in total
How does the pricing work for Aviation & rail? I assume more than £150 per unit.

Are the Friday afternoon 'sells' actually 'buys" ? I guess 9.07 is a sell and the rest around 9.20 are buys.

I floated this last week. What if Caterpillar have shown interest in buying SEE. They are 65/500 on the Fortune 500. they have $30+ bn revenue per year and make about 13% profit. They have a declared interest in AI.

They already know the SEE product for construction equipment. They could easily work across OEM brands and they are a big company.

SEE have already said they are working with Caterpillar and things are going very well

Caterpillar have just appointed a new VP with an automotive background from 30th July.
Ogi Redzic is now a Vice President of Caterpillar. He was a Senior Vice President at Renault/ Nissan/ Mitsubishi . His brief at Renault / Nissan was to create a car information system for the whole brand. Something has persuaded him to move back to the USA after 30 months with Renault

My theory is that Caterpillar are trying to formulate a business before they show their hand to takeover SEE. SEE would not may not need to issue an RNS yet because they already work with Caterpillar and for now its an extension of such work.

SEE may want to hold back other RNS positive news until things are set up with Caterpillar. The last thing they would want is other interest until they are ready.

I thought Miton had simply too much value in the shares. Their web site says they have a fund for smaller companies fixed at £200m. They can invest 2-4% in a stock. so £8m.
The declaration of stock ownership said they had 105,000,000 shares remaining on 16th August. At 10p per share say £10m. They are allowed £8m. so still need to offload £2m or 20m shares. So I think a few more days to go. However , they go ex dividend 1st September. Would they continue to sell after then ? Would they stop before then ?

I also looked at some of their other holdings. They also started to decline about 20-25 th July. I came to think it was a book keeping exercise.

Do we know if DMS would be installed in a Mercedes Benz MBUX infotainment system ? Karl Mos has moved to Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi from Mercedes. If the alliance continues they seem to want a common info system in 10.6m vehicles.

Ogi Redzic has moved to Caterpillar !!! as a Vice President.

PARIS -- Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi has picked former Daimler executive Kal Mos to lead the alliance's connected car activities.

Mos succeeds Ogi Redzic, who joined the alliance from Nokia in 2016 as the alliance's head of connected vehicles and mobility services.

Redzic is returning to the United States for family reasons, the company said.

Mos, who joined the alliance from Daimler in March, becomes global vice president for connected vehicles, with responsibility for design, deployment and release of systems, features and services.

One of the alliance’s priorities is a common infotainment system across all brands.

Mos will report to Hadi Zablit, senior vice president for business development, as did Redzic.

Before joining the alliance, Mos was vice president of artificial intelligence and digital vehicles at Mercedes-Benz research and development, North America. He recently led development of the MBUX infotainment system. Before joining Mercedes-Benz in 2002, he worked briefly as a technologist at General Motors.
