In simple terms is the cost to buy SEE not something like 10/12 x annual profit. If a couple of Titans are interested it could rise. The buyer gets all his money back in 10 - 12 years + any management charge that is paid by the new division, say 10%

At the moment profit is zero so why would anyone take the risk

Is the next big thing the specification ? What timescale do we have for this?

Its looking like today will be the highest km in 24 hours at over 4.6m. So it looks like we have more vehicles on the road already. Its also looking like installations have fallen back to the norm. It looks to me like 250 ish may have been installed onto the system as a batch over the weekend. The trend line is now showing 21st October for 18,000 total. I may be wrong, it may be a rest day.

Could this be First Bus phase 1 ? The technician could have been training last week / doing installs which are becoming live yesterday and today

I should say my day starts at 4:30 in the afternoon . My week will end 4:30 today.

Updated graphs. BZ4 shows the slow down last week and then the boost yesterday & today. Also showing that by Christmas Day it should be 18785 if the rate continues as per the last 2 months.

Hrg7 shows the installations were constant until this weekend. Sophie did say First bus was 90 installations as a first phase early in 2019. Is this now the next phase ?

Fleet installations have increased throughout the morning with a further 86. Its gone up by 226 in the last 3 days.

Update on Fleet Installations.

Fleet installations fell behind the norm this week, until today, with 82 in my 24 hour period. previous best was 35 ( yesterday) before that it was 33.

During the week the number did go up but then fell a few hours later, and it may do so again.

It could all be nothing but its different from the norm and the rise only takes us to just over the normal line. ( but up 900 in 2 months)

Do I remember that CAE were far bigger than L3 for FFS ?

During the quarter, Civil signed training solutions contracts valued at $586.6 million, including a 10-year pilot training contract with easyJet whereby all easyJet pilots will train at CAE in three European pilot training locations, including a new state-of-the-art training centre in London-Gatwick. Civil also signed an exclusive pilot training contract with Endeavor Air, as well as business aviation pilot training contracts with Icon Aviation and Windsor Jet. Civil sold 16 FFSs during the quarter to customers including Nippon Cargo Airlines, Aeroméxico, Lufthansa Aviation Training, and Shanghai Eastern Flight Training Company. These orders bring the total for the first nine months of the fiscal year to 50 FFSs. Civil has sold another 14 FFSs since the end of the quarter for 64 year-to-date, and now expects to sell approximately 70 FFSs for the fiscal year.

Terrym - And the only way you can buy a Safety DMS in the next three years is if you fit an apple windscreen that links to your Apple smart phone that takes you to the web site of the thing you are looking at, for which Apple can make a charge. Another revenue stream.It would also stop facebook doing it first.

with the idea that a brand like BMW could fit something that may have known safety defects. If you get several high profile incidents the brand would take a dive for a couple of years. If they come up with a set of DMS tests to prove a model is worth a 5* rating in the future and these BMW models fail the rating, what then ! If SEYE is not acceptable in 2021 why would BMW say we cannot take the risk and either not fit DMS or change to SEE. Or at least be ready for a quick change over. Or they think its not a business risk.

I always assumed that a SEE person did the install. hence 14/15 per day. So a company with a large fleet could be trained in 3 days. So why is the installation rate so constant?

If I am correct the attachments with the FOI also say that one technician is required to fit 70 units in 3 days. if its possible to fit 20 per day that would be 1 in 24 minutes. I must be reading this wrong. Average installation Globally is 14 per day.
