I assume to help train better drivers the eye tracking could monitor whether you are checking the inside and outside mirrors and how often. This would improve awareness and make better drivers or Safety Drivers for autonomous vehicles. So I think SEE technology would help.

If it turned out to be SEE with Bdms monitoring the Mission Specialist, with alarms immediately sent to the remote monitoring team who are monitored by a secondary system to log their response that would be a neat system. Reports on the alarms to the Monitoring Team would become the metric of choice. ( alarms per 1,000kmI, alarms per Mission Specialist, alarms per day/ week /month, alarms per model of car etc etc. It would make auditing much easier. I would suggest this could become the must have system for AV testing.

Re the Phil Koopman Uber ATG Safety Report. I do not think Phil Koopman mentions the second part of the Uber Monitoring strategy - The remote monitoring team. This team would give confidence that the mission Specialists were doing their job and would provide an easy way of providing metrics on performance.

Do any other DMS have a means to offer live remote monitoring?

A safety report from Ford & GM have nothing regards the detail submitted by Uber. Uber clearly feel the need to impress. I think the real time feedback is very significant. Unless Uber have not signed up until they get the licence why would they not say who the supplier is?

If a Safety report has any value it must be open to review. A poor system would reflect badly on Uber but would reflect very badly on the Authority who gave the licence to a company who have failed once already. Do we know what is involved after submitting the safety report ?

I have watched the Lytx video. I cannot see how this would help Uber. It seems to record what happened rather than try to prevent a crash. It does not alarm when the truck driver is looking down at the car alongside. I cannot see how this system would give any authority confidence to issue a licence.

II have reduced by 41million shares in six weeks. VSI have taken 20 million. Is the market feeding 20 million back into private investors?

Why are the holdings only to 30th September ?

I think the only shareholder with a place on the Board has just increased their shareholding by 8% in a six week period. VSI now own 35% of the II shares , up from 32%. Its been suggested that the BOD should buy some shares but I doubt it would be 20 million. Is 20 million shares, purchased by a company with a director on the Board not a positive ?
Could VSI be pushing towards a 20% target with a possible sell out to a chip Manufacturing company ?

I can see why an OEM would want to keep the wraps on a new model but something seems wrong re the Bdms. The AV people need to show the public they are testing vehicles safely. They need to convince the Authorities to licence their testing. Why would you not want to be seen as the most responsible AV tester ? If you were paying a high premium for Bdms why would you not want to put pressure on the other AV companies to do the same? If you buy into Bdms and have a good safety record but the others do not invest and have accidents, you will still carry the same sigma as they would do.

Why would you not say very loudly this is what we are doing, its costing xxx but we are a responsible company and its worth it.

Could it be the Bdms contract is not a major player who may not yet have a licence to test! SEE may not want to say its only a small order from a new AV tester. The company may not want to say what they are doing yet until they apply for a licence.

Its 50 days since the RNS stated : Seeing Machines has signed an agreement with one customer and is in advanced discussions with a number of companies at the forefront of autonomous vehicle development.

I would have thought 50 days is a long time in terms of autonomous vehicle development.

The cooperation between Apple and VW which was announced in May to develop autonomous vehicles is possibly larger than originally anticipated. According to media reports, Apple plans to include 500 modified VW Golf in their testing initiative.

The Patent is about Video outside the car but could Apple apply the system inside for DMS data ?

I agree with your thoughts re PR but is an RNS not to keep all investors informed of information which could potentially affect the value of the company. The Euroncap report must do that.
