Thanks Madpunter - that does make sense, particularly in a market like AIM where there is more flexibility for the MMs to play games to recoup their losses. I’m still holding over 20 million shares in FRR and hoping for good news on the the next month or so. Exxon will do me very nicely.... GLA.

So is it your view Madpunter that this is a buy from several days ago, possibly on the morning of the RNS, which the MMs have had to effectively claw back their losses over the following days?

I must admit, I've not really thought about PP much, just knew it meant that as a result of it, we held some cash in Zimbabwe. For me it's all been about BP, diamonds and suddenly this week, Zagra. Any of those 3 coming to fruition will mean massive rises on the sp. if we're lucky we might just get all 3. I always enjoy your estimates of Vast's true value (5p - 9p at last count, either of which would make me a very happy Vast millionaire....)

More games. On HL the bid price suddenly dropped to 0.35, ask 0.39, so I thought I’d check. Was offered 0.3811 to sell £2000 worth!

As appetite for water firms dampened, oil and gas company Frontera Resources rocketed on London's junior market.

Its shares shot up 80.9per cent, or 0.2p, to 0.4p as it revealed it had signed agreements with two major industry players. Investors got excited as the company said it was discussing a deal with the two heavyweight competitors regarding help in managing wells in Georgia.

Thanks Zib - it seems to imply (to me at least) that it is a mechanism put in place by the exchange to check on buys and sells in a quickly moving market. Good day today. Looks like all those pics might have been of Exon reps after all.....

I’m in FRR as well as Vast, so after now at last being in profit at both, hoping for the BP licence RNS tomorrow morning to get this sp really moving. I agree with many other posters that the licence represents to the market generally more than just the asset it will release: it tells everyone who is listening both that AP delivers what he promises and that Romania is open for business. If the Zimbabwe diamonds prove successful as well, then we’ll then really re-rate - I’m just praying that Castaway’s prediction of 5p is correct!. GLA DYOR

My thoughts regarding Marange is that we will fairly shortly get more news. We still have outstanding historical claims to this field and the Zimbabweans are now struggling to mine what’s left - they need some specialist help. If they just give it to another international company to mine, Vast could pursue that company through the international courts, which no one wants. If they give Vast a potentially small part of their original field on the condition that they will not go via the courts, the Zimbabweans could then bring in others (perhaps with deeper pockets) to mine the rest. I think Mnangagwa offered Vast this new field to keep everyone happy. Vast, with their knowledge of what’s there, were very happy to accept. Possible?

Any chance that one of the reasons why AP has agreed to the Q&A session (thanks LeeMorris by the way) is that he reckons by the time it falls he'll have the licence in hand already? Ever hopeful with Vast, despite yesterday's sp shenanigans. The fact that AP was so keen to keep all of the Marange Diamond fields to Vast, rather than give up a percentage of it to an outside body, speaks volumes as to how much he thinks it is going to be worth long term. So i am presently holding, sitting back and waiting for my Vast fortune to arrive.....
