It would be great if we got a positive RNS on Monday morning, outlining how well the court case is going and confirming BP as the second major. Then this share really would rocket and my 3.8p Christmas sp prediction really would be back in play. Fingers firmly crossed.

I agree with Zib on this, and Pyro regarding the red or black comment. We are now in a coin toss, or perhaps a better analogy would be the roll of a many sided dice, with many potential outcomes, and whilst we hope the dice is loaded in our favour, it possibly isn’t. There are at least 2 potential negative outcomes.
1 - we lose the whole company
2 - we have to repay money straight away.
Zaza has positioned the company successfully for outcome 2 (but not outcome 1) by means of the $60 million loan facility.
Of the more favourable outcomes, we have
3 - Status quo resumed, allowing us to complete hook ups with the 2 majors.
4 - a hefty fine for Hope, followed by us hooking up with the majors
Which one has the greatest probability is anyone’s guess. I’d be grateful if anyone could outline any additional outcomes that I haven’t considered or dismiss some if you think they can’t take place for some reason.
Finally, what would we like to happen on Monday morning? An RNS seems a given, with some up to date information on the court case. Would we prefer a suspension? What would be the implications of such a move?

No one really knows how this will play out, experienced and inexperienced investors alike. To sell or not to sell, thatbis the question. To derisk or hold tight? Prices on Monday may be very low, and may well bounce back over the holiday period.

I too have now read the document and as an individual who has little experience of the business world save for what one reads elsewhere, it is all quite shocking what people will do to feather their own nest. Clearly shareholders are trying to do the same, but we do so legally, and with our hands tied behind our backs and our eyes often blindfolded, due to the lack of communications from the companies themselves. And then suddenly we get a little glance into the corporate world and its a pretty ugly place.

My instincts tell me that any sane individual would find in FRR's favour and will win a famous victory of Agincourt type proportions. My fear however is that this world of business is not a sane world and my 30 million plus shares in FRR hang in the balance. Still holding and hoping for a relatively quick (and positive) result.

Well done pyro, simply for talking about FRR. I for one am still fully invested and very much hoping that the 2 majors will be announced once the Hope / Outrider shenanigans have been resolved and RNSed. And in that scenario you are right , today’s sp really won’t matter.

Fingers crossed then. It seems he’s opening a new ZCDC diamond facility in Marange. The perfect time to also announce Vast as one of the four companies.

So after all of yesterday’s excitement, still no RNS this morning, but the apparent promise of being one of the two companies, alongside de Beers (and/or the Chinese). Mnangagwa ‘s presidential address is today, so Vast seem to be waiting for the official announcement before their own RNS. I for one am happy to wait.

Thanks FHP. I hadn’t spotted the jump in BOD’s price yesterday. Very exciting and definitely now time for VAST to jump up in a similar fashion.

The presidential address is tomorrow, so that will hopefully be the day when Mnangagwa announces that Vast are indeed one of the 2 companies...
