Star - I'm not saying anything about you as I simply don't know you. None of us tend to know anyone else on here, except for our internet BB personas (unless of course you are one of the really long term holders, in which case you are in the inner clique). If it was me I would just let in lie for a bit. Read the other messages, and melt into the background for a while. For me, it is your constant justifications that are becoming irksome. Sleep well and fingers crossed for a good outcome for all shareholders.

Riptonk and others regarding Starage. I'd always assumed that Starage was a genuine guy, posting what he had found in good faith. When initially he started getting flack, I felt sorry for him, that to me at least, he was being bullied. His continual, unrelenting defence of his position however is starting to remind me of PJiles on ii. Constantly posting, almost as if he has to, in order to keep up the charade, whilst at he same time attempting to undermine confidence in FRR. Perhaps he has been deliberately manipulating the release of this information to scare investors into selling for crazily low prices to WShak an his mates. Perhaps my initial thoughts regarding his motives were correct and he is just a misunderstood LTH. I just don't know. For those of us who are not selling, this isnt a problem. If Starage is genuine, then all he is doing is doing is fraying a few nerves before we hear the big news (hopefully from YJ, rather than Starage for a change). And if he is a troll, we can at least take comfort in the realisation that good news really is just round the corner. IMHO. GLA.

I for one am still fairly confident that this will end well. Yesterday morning I was called deluded on this BB, but I do sense some positivity has returned. Whether this is justified only time will tell. It would be good however if we could remain civil until we do know one way or the other. If not, with everyone falling out with everyone else, it will be a very sparsely attended 10p party celebration ......

I think yesterday was an out-pouring of emotion based on timescales. As shareholders we have suffered more than we could ever have imagined. We all expected yesterday that there would be news of some kind of settlement, allowing us all to move on. So when it didn’t come and initial assessments were shown to be inaccurate and based on the court judgment from Dec 21st, for some it didn’t matter and all was lost. I remember that Dec 24th RNS and how bad I felt. Yesterday we saw that news again and felt the same way. No surprise there, but after delisting on Jan 24th, I for one felt much happier following comments from YJ, Zaza via Mole and then Malcy. Something happened yesterday , we know that, but so far we have no news. But nor have the shorters. That suggests to me that all is still to play for. It’s just that our timelines are different to that of the court.

I think we’re all playing a waiting game now;,waiting for that RNS that will mend the sp. There are only 2 to my mind that can do it: 1 - the RNS that says is Mercuria’s replacement is now in place, and 2 - Zimbabwe news. So in the meantime, we’re all here waiting patiently for AP to put this right.

I do hope RR is ok and still as confident as ever. We certainly could do with some of that confidence now. Moose made some good points this evening, as did Zib and others.
To be honest, I'm more interested in Mole's absence from these discussions.Of course he may be busy with work, family etc, but the last time we heard news regarding this whole affair, he came on to talk about the message that Zaza had left on his phone. Has something similar happened today? Good or bad news from the court today? I stress today, because from what everyone has said the documents appear to be old news (I'm one of the people who haven't been able to download it, so instead I'm relying on all of you to tell me what it said!). Are we going to tomorrow from Zaza via an RNS, YJ the shorters, Hope himself? If a settlement was reached, or held until a further hearing, then we won't get anything official, but something might leak.

I was very concerned about an hour ago, after reading Starage’s comments. However, on reflection this is sounding more and more like old news. RR pointed out over the weekend that this was a roll of a dice, with 1 meaning we lose everything, 2 & 3 that we break even and 4,5&6 us doing very well indeed. The judge’s statement has changed things in the sense that I suppose this may well now have become a 4 or 5 sided dice (if that’s possible), with the chance of the mega bucks now lower than it was. I would still very happily take the break even option if it was on offer.

What we need now is YJ, Zaza, Malcy or Mole to confirm that this is old news. If this was indeed the initial document, and that it preceded all those words of comfort, then we are still on track. We need to know what happened today, not 2 months ago.

This is like watching the Ceefax pages to find out how your football team is doing. Exciting, nerve-racking and painful all at the same time.

Should also have said that overall I’m sticking with my comments from earlier today. Zaza, Mole, Malcy, BP and YJ have kept my spirits up throughout this whole saga. I am still positive overall - this, fingers crossed, will come good.

“Divide and rule” is an old tactic to suppress the masses. That’s what this feels like. Time for everyone to turn off for today and perhaps be prepared to sit this one out until we get some real news. I for one have been foolish and am very exposed should this go bad, more so than almost everyone of you (with the possible exception of Rainbow Rider). I wish I’d engaged in some risk management back in October, but I now have to live with my decisions, learn some humility and pray that I haven’t messed up too badly. GLA

For me, what the Starage emails do or do not show is not the key to reading this. The mood music that I outlined in my previous post suggests to me an optimism in one camp and a concern in the other. We are simply not in a position to judge what will happen in the court case. We simply are missing too much of the information that has been presented to the court. All we can do is try to read the minds of those who do have more information than we possess. In my opinion, that suggests we are in a good and not bad position. Is it a definite, glorious victory? Clearly not. But on the balance of probabilities, it does suggest that we will come out of this with something.
