What time do the latest set of court lists come out?

LordLash - that’s how I read it as well. It provides further proof of how badly the judge has taken to Hope’s attempt to allegedly con the judge at the initial court case in December. More evidence that FRR are in the ascendancy...

A great post HeidHoncho. For me this is the most likely scenario. Hope was expecting lots of shares as per the agreement, and Zaza got wind via YA of his naked shorting of FRR shares. Zaza therefore realised that if he did pay Hope in shares, we would be caught in a death-spiral for the company. They refused to pay, announced the action against Hope (the fiduciary duty claim) and arranged the finance via Durham. Hope saw he was being ambushed and decided to go to court, convincing the judge to lift the injunction (only later did the judge realise that he’d been played by Hope and his legal team). Still all to play for, but hopefully the oocs is close to being agreed and we will all be visiting the Bentley showroom in time for the summer holidays. GLA

I’m assuming one of our “super-sleuther’s” will post the court lists again this evening once they are published. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting we would all still be waiting for news, given the fact that we had the hearing so long ago. I wonder if the judge decided to send both parties away; that they needed to keep working on the oocs, and that he’d have another look at it once he’d returned from his holiday?

Thanks Regdik. You made similar comments a few weeks ago and I took comfort from your posts then as well. I'm still optimistic that we will get the right result here. As Zen describes, the mood music seems positive from a variety of important directions at the moment, but that is definitely being blurred by the very frequent moans from the doom and gloom merchants. For me, the glass is half full; for others, it's half empty. I suppose ultimately, we all have to wait until the news finally drops.

Well if things go to plan, the judge will be rubber-stamping an OoCS today, and we will be told about it on either Thursday or Friday. We may of course have got it all wrong (again) and today’s hearing will be about an obscure point of law. Fingers crossed for us all.

Finn - at the very least, with an OoCS they will need to return to the court to tell everyone involved that the proceedings presently before the court should be dropped. Whether they also need the judge to sign off on the settlement, that is another matter, and one to which I don't know the answer. I'm hoping oopsi might be able to help us.

I guess we’re in the waiting game again, but given that many of us were expecting no news until the end of April anyway, there’s no real change there, other than Oopsi’s view that the fiduciary claim has been resolved in some respect.
I initially felt that this was FRR going back to the court to say to the judge that an oocs had been reached and that they were effectively asking the judge to wind up the proceedings. SB it seems on ii has the same view. Is that still possible Oopsi, admittedly one possibility from what could potentially be a long list of possibilities?

This can't be an appeal hearing, so is this the judge overseeing the oocs?

Thanks for the reply MP. Very interesting if is the latter, as it could possibly suggest that the oil sales were ours all along. Perhaps the sales are indeed keeping the lights on and funding the court case. And possibly perhaps they were about to show a big rise in sales....

You’re right there Fools. I make it around 50 million shares bought in round numbers in the last hour. I wish I’d bought so many for so relatively little money. Still hoping for the big re-rate...

We’re still good Rainbow. Keep your spirits up. The recent judgement highlights both the thoughts of the judge with regard to our likely success in the appeal in April and the fact that an OoCS is likely. And the fact that we’ve not needed to raise money and still been able to fund both the business and the court case since December tells us that cash isn’t a problem either. Oil or gas sales must be rolling in, or one of BP, BH or the NY fund are providing some hard cash. Both possibilities suggest that the company has a strong future (and of course the judge suggested as much in both of his judgments). So keep the faith and keep the posts coming. They are certainly better to read than the rubbish from firegaiser and crab123 last night!
