I agree this has gone quiet but that is I think down to the tedium that BPL has become. Everyone still understands tye transformational nature of the licence when it does eventually arrives, and most shareholders are continuing to hold as a result. Some will then trade and move on, but the smart ones imo will hold for the stream of announcements that are then due, most notably Marange diamonds. That will then see the “rampers, derampers, believers, non-believers” all return in their droves. But in the meantime, even AP is staying away, keeping his promise that the next podcast will be for BPL. And so we wait. But I agree, it is boring....

Starage You asked why a major wouldn’t just try to buy the whole company given the still ridiculously low sp of FRR. An unwanted takeover attempt by a major or other ii would be a hostile or aggressive takeover. From my understanding, it would need 75% of shareholders to vote yes. Someone has previously stated on this B.B. that Zaza and friends control about 30% of all shares, effectively ruling out an aggressive takeover if that proves to be true. So this leaves the majors with only two choices: that is to do a takeover at a price acceptable to the BoD, or do a JV etc as previously described.

Topped up this morning in the SIPP and ISA to the tune of £10000 and £9000 respectively and now holding 30 million shares. The 98p prediction from Sunday’s would be nice to say the least! Here hoping for that life changing RNS tomorrow morning

Another early and fairly substantial sp rise is now on the cards for Thursday morning (although this should be sustainable given that the shorters will now be running for the hills). And I agree that maybe this has all been set up to clear the decks prior to the mother of all RNSs. Interesting times ahead, and definitely not a time to be selling. Too much money to be made imo once the majors are identified and the JV confirmed. IMO GLA
