Been thinking about this. We also have the EUNCL trials going on and IIRC the results from that are due Q4 this year. Let's hope they conveyed the correct test environment to them!

I'm no expert but it seems an incredibly risky share to short given the very strong long term support. It's not as though the vanadium price is going to go down much more. Maybe they were aware of all the stop losses and just went for it?

I'm not in on this yet but my price target is still about 24p given the price of vanadium now vs when BMN was last at 24p (i.e. the same). I'll probably buy in just about 25p though. I think there has been some sort of snowball effect what with all the stop losses that are getting hit.

If they can get some solid progress on VRFBs this would be doing alright now but the vanadium price upon which BMN is entirely dependent has caused a temporary blip. I wouldn't worry if I was a LTH.

Let me elaborate briefly. My theory is that renewables etc are being deeply held back (no idea how) by petroleum energy companies - it is massive business after all. Perhaps it is the very investment in renewables that is held back by oil companies and the mega-funds that have long term investments in them.

If only that investment went to companies like Tesla and BCN and then we would have an electric future.

A few years ago we had universities pledging to divest from oil, but now we have an entire nation's investment fund (Norway) sticking it to oil. Global warming is about to melt the permafrost and completely f**k up the world's climate and it will very soon become vital that massive investment is made in clean energy with extreme rapidity.

Which reminds me, must sort out my pension - far too much non-renewables in there.

Just having a nose around here.... how on earth did the share price go up 50x on April 1st??? That is an absolutely crazy rise I have never seen anywhere.

I read the RNS (not on lse.co.uk!) and it just seems they increased their net reserves, increased predicted revenue and production but that's it. None of this was by a factor of 50!!!

This is true and my theory is that we are about to see the dotcom boom but for renewables that will drive a revolution in energy production.

Yes, nothing terminal has happened. More work is required to get this going (unlike my other investment MTFB which is all or nothing!).

I am slightly bemused that this didn't seem to work well in vivo since in previous N4P presentations they present info on how Nuvec remains in the injection site area for 48 hours suggesting it has enough time to act. If it "works" in-vitro and then the in-vivo tests show it hangs around the injection site I would expect things to work. Or maybe I'm oversimplifying things.

Had a look at the website. Doesn't actually have a lot on the company history. The board certainly looks extremely high powered though.

I think this is one for me to watch and observe sadly. I recall previous trials (unrelated to RENE) where some people who had some form of blindness (ARMD?) went to a rogue clinic and had stem cell injections to their eyes to try and fix their condition. Sadly they all went blind so if RENE has conquered this that would be an impressive achievement.

This has been a true roller coaster ride but I am convinced (personally) that this share is a goer. I really struggle to see the downside. I will refer back to this post on June 3rd!

Well, I'm back in again. Had a read of the job ads and this is pretty big IMO. Not massive though - that'll be the funding itself.

...BMN is just tracking the Vanadium price.

I read up on all the background to BMN and totally agree that long term VRFBs are a great idea. I just don't think the market has latched onto that idea yet. When it does latch on, I assume the share price will steadily rise. Not in on this yet, but will invest when we reach a bit more of a short term bottom.

Were meant to be due in Q1. Anyone know where they are? I would be keen to see them!
