Says that last year the EBITDA went up 19% while this year it would have been 100% according to my probably-incorrect calculations. ($19m EBITDA last year, $38m EBITDA this year)

It seems to say it was $19.4m in H1 2025 so basically it has doubled if it's $38m now. I wonder what has driven that demand? Is this the Open Claw phenomenon? It's not like the number of outdoor displays (a big market for RPI) has suddenly massively increased in number. RPI must have some new customer if it's not hobbyists. Hmmmm how very perplexing.

Now it's much lower apparently.

The price is nuts and I worry for PIs buying into this! That said, I would not be surprised by an RNS coming out in the next few days saying ARM had bought more shares. They are benefitting from AI but RPI does not do AI so this is the only logical reason I can think of.

I think one day a takeover is possible but it's not a great deal at the moment IMO.

The comment about no need for a NPU on the Pi 6 makes sense but given RPI is riding the AI wave, I am surprised this comment has had no effect on price. Maybe it will take time to disseminate to investors?

If all investors are aware about the no-NPU comment, the price premium IMO must wholly be as it is due to them thinking it is a takeover target. I'd expect a P/E of 20 if it was not at risk of takeover or AI-hype.

This is not massive but is minor good news for Ocado.

No one seems to have read the RNS (as usual on here). It is literally just the ecommerce software that is the deal. No delivery vehicles and most importantly no CFCs.

I'm hoping somehow this is a gateway drug for Asda to use Ocado's hardware too somehow.

Classic Ocado. Good news and bugger all happens to the price.

They spent 20 years refining the CFC model, so while I'm glad they have a new offering my hope it they will capitalise on that epic investment.

It's all about CFCs isn't it? That's all that matters.

If they lose another CFC I suspect it will be over shortly after even though they do have plenty of cash on hand last time I checked.

If they gain another it will be a massive uplift to morale and to some extent the share price.

We're due massive food inflation later this summer caused by Trump's "diplomacy" in the Strait of Hormuz. I'm trying to work out what this will mean for Ocado. More theft in traditional supermarkets is good for Ocado, but then the cost of labour will diminish compared to goods sold by them so that makes Ocado's margins smaller. I'm certainly no expert on this but welcome other opinions.
