Well.. if Pfizer are charging the US Gov $140 a shot I doubt that they will let Covidity de-rail the gravy train year on year !! Same goes for Moderna. My money is one of these 2 will buyout Sclp...in part ...or completely ...if only to kill off Covidity at birth. Awful for humanity but excellent for the bottom line accounts. Industrial espionage and all that.. I'm only to sure they know how the trial is progressing. Probably the same goes for the Modi-1 trial.

Any experts care to comment how this compares to SCIB ...turning "cold tumors hot " and how this competes with SCLP

Data from 22 melanoma patients will be presented at the congress. All patients had failed prior checkpoint inhibition and were treated with bexmarilimab monotherapy at varying doses. The median number of previous treatment lines was three and the median age of patients was 60.



- Of the 22 subjects, five patients (23%) experienced clinical benefit during therapy.



- Among patients who had 12-month follow-up completed, 100% (3/3) of patients who experienced clinical benefit were alive compared to 11% (1/9) of patients who did not experience clinical benefit.



- Median overall survival (OS) was 457 days for patients who experienced clinical benefit compared to 189 days for patients who did not experience clinical benefit. This represents a 2.4-fold increase in OS for patients with clinical benefit.



- Mean baseline IFN? levels among patients experiencing clinical benefit was one-fourth of the mean value of patients who did not experience clinical benefit. Mean levels among these patients increased significantly and remained elevated over the course of a three-weekly treatment, indicating an immune response was activated and that the tumor was converted from cold to hot.

Either way ... I just hope we get some deal late this year or next. We must be very near now.

Agree ...we have Biontec " interested" ... but it's only a collaboration agreement and hopefully a licencing deal may follow. As with all SCLPs collaborations ..we still don't have any mega deals getting over the line. Despite all the positive published research / presentations etc etc Merck overlook us and go with Moderna, surely SCLP has demonstrated superior expertise in this area.??..that has to be disappointing to some degree.
Very positive SCLP will get a deal for one of their platforms but still feel frustrated when I read about other companies in our area of interest inking deals. Hopefully there is something relevant in today's RNS : )

Chester, I hope that your predictions are correct and it seams a reasonable timeline for a Modi1 update. It would be great to go into the new year with all centers open . I don't see why we won't.

True , but the target figure wasn't exactly high to start with and we're almost a year into the trial.

I'm much more interested to get an RNS re the Modi-1 trial saying that all recruitment centres are open. Been awhile since the full dose of Moditope was administered with no indication of adverse affects.

Excellent results for Nykode but the share price is up by less than HALF a percent...so not exactly encouraging for second generation vaccines ...

Looking at that comment , if Covidity proves successful then perhaps SCLP will find themselves in an identical position. Covidity may help to prove the concept ..which will enhance the intellectual property and be a great result , but it may not add any immediate increase in share price if we follow the same path as Nykode which is a disappointment .

At least Moditope is another string to the bow and will hopefully ignite the share price along with the monoclonal antibodies if deals are concluded.
SCLP continues to be a slow burner with the potential of a great return....
