Rat, the wait must be over soon ...it may be interesting to read and compare a typically "dull scientific" Scancell RNS pre / post the new chairman .

Covidity.... whatever the results.....I think that there's just too much corruption between the 2 current dominant players and global governments. It would need a very major pharma company indeed to do the heavy lifting on Covidity and put a dog in the fight.

Yes, re or new chairman..I wonder how the connection was made between himself and Scancell. Who contacted who I wonder ? were introductions made by Redmile Vulps ? He may have been very aware of Scancell’s pipeline from his prior positions ( perhaps even had Scancell as a potential target ) and knowing a position was vacant made the call ? Either way its another clear signal we are heading in the right direction on all fronts. I now just want covidity done and dusted to clear the decks.

Someone with that calabire would have done his own due diligence on Scancell.... and very much liked what he saw : ))

Hi all, yes, a disappointing share price result from the interim results but Moditope continues. Shame that they didn't RNS the latest patent a typical low key attitude to any positive news. Anyway....this is a great entry price or are some waiting for the Covidity results to be done and dusted prior to topping up or investing for the first time ?

Hopefully Redmile was providing guidance to BioNtec and are doing so for Scancell.

WTP, I have looked extensively and can't find any info on the roadshow so it's most likely nothing at all. I too am hoping for some more deals or an outstanding offer for the whole company. Best scenario ...an opening offer from Merck followed by a bidding war : )) As Scancell has confirmed a response in Ovarian patients we must seriously be a step close to such a scenario . Just can't believe the current share price !!

I've been giving this some thought myself , and in addition why have Stifel come out with a raised share price target at the same time? It was reported on the other board Bloomberg was the source of the news.
We know Stifel Nicolaus Europe Limited are Joint Brokers alongside Panmure Gordon, so are they doing the rounds with Scancell to raise funds ? I know we are fully funded to 2024 and the intention is to do more deals and become self funding... but is this the insurance policy ?
If no deals materalise , funds will need to be raised mid year or we will be negotiating from a weak financial position ?? I was anticipating a good recovery today but now I'm wondering if we are heading to an " agreed price ".

How they read the RNS...

" GOSH...looks like they have early responders in Ovarian as well as Head and Neck ...Ovarian not even at full dose ....may have to act sooner than we thought"

So the drop today means Covidity was priced in at say 3 pence. Moditope and the mAbs progress has been overlooked in this great RNS. I don't understand why an investor would sell out of Scancell’s fantastic pipeline for the sake of one product valued at 3 pence when the upside is valued in pounds !!

It's a very positive RNS , excellent initial results of Moditope with more centers (3)being recruited at present. Good comments on the other board.
Covidity...well 19pts was never going to compete with the market leaders. I'm pleased this distraction has been put in the bottom draw to concentrate on Moditope and the mAbs.

Personally, very , very happy to be wrong... but I think we will only be getting accounts and the usual bland statment re the asset pipeline and a typical flat share price reaction. Maybe Q1... but I wouldn't rule out Q2 for either a Covidity and or Moditope update.
After all these years waiting I think out of excitement and anticipation we are reading too much into events. I don't think Scancell will have enough data on Moditope to accompany the results. If they mention partnering of the platforms... then this has always been the intention... what will be new to lift the share price? I think the blockbuster RNS that we all want will simply come out of the blue when least expected....or there will be a steady rise in the share price days before an announcement.
Alarm set for 7 am... and hopefully egg on my face for breakfast.

Chelsea 11, looking at the share price today I don't get any vibes that the interim results are going to contain anything other than the accounts and a bland statement about the pipeline etc. etc.
We will then have 9 odd weeks until the end of Q1.
Happy to wait for definitive Moditope results but at least an update on Covidity by then... even by Scancell’s timeliness ; ))
