Iofas..... and this is why Scancell should be promoting themselves and their science.

I am very disappointed after Konar's post ... realising that Scancell aren't "presenting"... merely standing by their poster waiting for an audience.
I have to take back my original post this morning saying the RNS on the 21st of Feb can stand alone. Looking at the amazing positive data coming from AACR23 today , Scancell simply have to lift their game and start to be more proactive on all fronts. Companies are screaming on twitter- #AACR23- about their science / trials and are really being proactive in the market space . What have sclp done since the Covidity results etc... NOTHING...not even a recent RNS indicating attendance at this prestigious conference.
Despite the absolutely amazing initial results relating to Moditope... looking at the fast pace of AACR23.... its old news now.
Scancell needs to have up to date data to present or their message risks being lost in a very crowded and competitive marketplace. Scancell needs to start being run like a business and not a science lab.

Scancell should learn about positive marketing from the likes of Oxford Nanopore...tweeting away

On twitter there is already massive coverage under #AACR23.

21st of Feb was our last update RNS on Moditope. I have just re-read it. Its an amazing read and to believe/ hope the effects of our vaccine are continuing to shrink or stabilise tumours is incredible really.
Even if there's no new information pre the AACR what is contained in that one RNS alone should be enough to ignite significant interest at this major conference. I'm guessing that if the oncology/ immunotherapy world hadn't noticed Scancell prior to this conference.....they will certainly know about Scancell after LD concludes her presentation. They will have enough knowledge of the potential science to "see the projectory " with or without a comformatory RNS.

Some bebate about why Vulps have " rushed" this document out now.
My thoughts and pure speculation ....
..we all know that there's no love lost between Vulps and Redmile as per the last fundraising.

..Vulps set themselves up as the stakeholder with the shareholders interest at heart

.. Vulps were the original investors before Redmile.

. ..Has there been a speculative bid approach for the whole or one of Scancell’s platforms? Is this " rushed document " a defensive move indicating very publicly and to shareholders and more importantly to Redmile ....the value Vulps see in Scancell? Are Vulps indicating that they won't accept an indicative bid at x price and reminding shareholders the value they see in Scancell so we would throw our weight behind Vulps if it was required.

HI TF... well, i guess CRUK had their chance . Hopefully Scancell will now team up with the bigger fish swimming in the pond.

Matt, I'm sure most would agree with you. I certainly do. I thought that we would increase in SP once the Covidity results were released as I considered this a " drag" on the Moditope trial with potential investors waiting for headline Covidity results.
15p....just have to hold tight with Redmile / Vulps and pray for a deal on something, sometime soon.

Not that is the sort of statement KYSO .. that SCLP need to start using when more results come in !!
Hope our CEO takes a lesson from their book. I really like the idea of a Vision for 2030. Perhaps Scancell won't need one as we won't exist having being taken over ???

Scancell certainly need someone to raise their profile. I note AVCT have put out an RNS today announcing their attendance and presentation at AACR.
I know some will say funding has been sorted and Sclp know where the money is coming from so perhaps their lack of blowing their own trumpet is a positive sign .....but the clock is ticking and this will need to be sorted by the year end.
All publicity is good publicity so why can't Scancell at least RNS our attendance??

An excellent end to the day considering we knocked at 15p this week . It does take grit to hold a declining share but as the excellent post earlier today made clear ...just remember the value of the science Sclp has developed. The dislocation between SP and value will correct in time. Roll on April : ))

Personally I only need Scancell’s share price to reach... £1 ...once...
At some point in the journey I think that this will be achieved either by outstanding trial results, retail panic buying, more deals or a complete takeover. 15.5p on the bid is disappointing but we have all seen shares soar on nothing other than thin air ....£1 achievable in my opinion / ever lasting hope !!

Share price is a joke indeed - but not funny - we fell harder than the banks today and even some of them recovered !!
The very positive news from Trish today still makes Scancell a good investment.... for the eventual return : ))
