Well , as you all know, I've often moaned at the share price. Looking at the fall today I squarely place the blame with Scancells communication.

What's done is done... and at least from the RNS we know potential deals are possible. If i sold up today i could get a fixed rate bond at arround 6% for 1 year ...but hopefully we will gain more than 6% over the next 12 mths so I'll stay put for another year and fingers crossed 10 p is the floor .

Watching the Proactive video again, got the impression TNBC wasn't being pursued as a target any longer. Positive commemts on ovarian and continuing with renal and head / neck .

Had hoped that we would build on the sp from yesterday....oh well ... back to waiting for a RNS deal announcement.

WTP et al, well, today's RNS certainly points to a deal sometime soon, but a typical market reaction and probably ending the day red....unbelievable.

Guess we just need to wait for the commercial deal to land......if 13p stays the current floor with funding kicked down the road for awhile, then it's a waiting game until the deal lands. When it happens we know it will result in a sp greater than 13p , so time again for speculation and dreams until the long anticipated RNS that truly values SCLP. Todays RNS certainly makes holding Scancell pretty easy...all is going well, just more waiting.

A question for those with far more knowledge than I....on these results alone, safety etc and 44% extended life in Ovarian cancer... if Scancell applied could Moditope be granted orphan drug status in the USA for ovarian cancer without waiting for completion of the whole trial ?

Burble, I too didn't understand why Crumbs was not impressed with a 44% response rate ...amazing I would say. Perhaps because the best results may come from CPI combination ?

Even if the UK Gov has thrown all in with Moderna and BioNtec , I guess , like much of UK innovation, Moditope could easily be developed abroad via a multi national pharma bid / partnership etc. Poor old UK misses an opportunity once again !!

Morning all, yes, mRNA and personal vaccines are the vogue....guess the Government have been courted by big pharma and their large brown envelopes. You can see how easily a personal vaccine would be sold to government and patients. You can just hear the likes of BioNtec....." would you rather a vaccine personalised to your cancer, or a generic off the shelf vaccine " ....ignorant Jo public and government advisors would, I'm sure , go for the personalised option as they perceive it to be more effective.

Now, hopefully the Moditope data will show how effective Scancells vaccine will be and we can counter the argument but even then we are competing against two of the most corrupt organisations...large pharma and government!!

Will a market cap of 100 million tempt anyone to bid prior to full data readout....if successful we will be valued far in excess of 100m.

Announcement made on the 75th anniversary of the NHS....simply the Gov spin doctors making the most of things. Would live to be wrong but expecting nothing from BioNtec re Scancell.

Scancell going ??

Yes, but remember LD gave one interview to the Guardian, which was simply reprinted in their sister paper and then placed on their FB page. This was pretty routine and not controlled by Scancell/LD.

I agree the interview was very positive especially on the back of the USA conferences. But the readership of the Guardian/Observer are not the target audience....why has LD /Scancell not done a proactive interview. Reading the RNS from AVCT yesterday and how positive the "message" was pushed ( and the resulting SP rise) , I wish Scancell could take a lesson or two. In my opinion they have missed opportunities to support the SP. RNS's could have been released as each Modi dose increased and met safety criteria and expanded into ovarian, renal etc. Appreciate it makes absolutely no difference to trial outcome but it would have continued to promote Scancell and keep interest alive...thus supporting the SP.

I know some will think it's just not Scancell’s style but with a potential fundraising this autumn...they have a responsibility to support the SP . Is not acceptable that as shareholders we dig out information from press interviews and Macmillian support pages.

Wonder if the next update will be from Trish or Scancell...who will be first ?

WTP....I'll take a deal or partnership any day ....but please Scancell , no more NDAs or collaborations that last for years...and years...and years.

The main issue with "data release " will be the ever diminishing count down to fundraising.

Scancell will need funds by April 2024 so surely any fundraising will need completing by the year end. Putting aside the possibility of any deals... and the timing of the CFO in September ...data release is heading on a collision course with the old tin rattle. Data will need to be good or we will be in for a heavily discounted share issue. If we are seen as financially distressed then deals will take this into account.

It's always been down to data....never has the next update been more important.

Douve87....guess its a bit like Dragons Den . The way I look at dilution .....although it hurts , is it best to end up owning X % of something valuable or X % of nothing. Nasdaq aside - as its never going to be achieved by next April - the cash runaway is fast approaching. We need another deal ASAP.

My take on this excellent article.....why give an interview to the Observer ...and yet LD had not done a Proactive interview?

Currently TD are putting a fair value of ...what was it...39 pence . BioNtec may or may not be privy to more info than TD .. but let's start at 39p and then add a premiumfor known unknowns ....£1 a share initial bid at the moment would het over the line ??? Sorry guys but I personally would take that at the moment.
