Dragon, agree timing with political and economic events wouldn't be great... but it's got to be addressed at somepoint prior to April 2024. Resolving the issue with a Nasdaq listing and capital raise would an alternative route...biotechnology stocks do seam to fair better in the USA.

GF123, Indeed , the current trials and general progress of Scancell must surely be stimulating interested parties. As Vulps indicated...derisory share price at these current levels. The auditors continue to stall the investors presentation which may give a positive indication of the future direction of the company. Why can't LD / Scancell simply proceed with an investment presentation ? Does it need to be tied in with the accounts...we all know the current financial position and cash burn etc. I'm drawing the conclusion that the results will be accompanied by a fundraising with LD rattling the tin at the Investor presentation.

As the peer reviewed article has been published...the content ii therefore in the public domain and open access to all. Scancell could attend the event and openly talk about the publication if/ when networking if they so wish.

I guess the first question from Redmile and Vulps ( after talking to LD etc) is going to be...what direction do we take the company now?

Hi C11, I can't find any evidence. I note attendance was RNSed for the ICI and WVC , and previously ASCO but then Scancell were presenting at these events.

Scancell may well be present and networking , it would be very logical as the two events in Madrid and Barcelona are geographically close and time wise almost back to back.

I hope a resolution is put forward at the AGM to change the auditors. Totally unacceptable failing to meet a second deadline. The tail is now wagging the dog and once again Scancell is tarnished with delays...delays...and delays whether in their control or not.

They must have reassured Scancell after the first time that they would meet the second date, but have failed miserably. They need to go and I personally feel it would be very poor management by Scancell if they didn't.

The auditors need to be sacked after this fiasco.

If Scancell don't ...then it will be a reflection of poor management by Scancell. If I was Redmile or Vulps I would insist on them being sacked the moment the ink was dry on the signed off accounts.

PaulBrains...indeed you are correct, so far I think it is fair to say LD slightly over promised at last years AGM, further deals were hinted at ...yet remain elusive. However Scancell is in a stronger position than a year ago. Scib results are (in my opinion) excellent, and even Moditope as a mono therapy has extended life and symptoms . Ovarian cancer has an excellent response rate . ...data is flowing in from our trials, we know the mAbs are under review by pharma and even Covidity has the mystery Texas connection which may , just may produce somethingleft field.....£1 has always been a dream target but now I honestly feel its feasible!

My personal target price is £1 , must admit , I thought we would have been there by now... but all still to play for !

In the first RNS there was notice of an analyst briefing AND an investors presentation on the day of published results.

In today's RNS it ONLY mentions the investors presentation. Is this poor communication which I hoped was resigned to history...or has the analyst briefing been cancelled ??? If so why ??

Absolutely disgraceful from the auditors. I hope that they get fired ....currently 6% off the SP because of this !!!

WTP, totally agree with Marcus, yourself and others. I believe Scancell has enough data to land a deal without raising dilutive funds and to this end they were proactive in the recent appointments with the aim of getting deals done.

In the unlikely event no deals are concluded we have a cash runway until H2 2024 . So Scancell would need to consider funding in Spring 24. Hopefully by then so much positive data will be available that a fund raise - if needed- will be at a considerable premium to the current SP.

Any hint of Moditope +CPI repeating Scib results will finally put the question of funding into the history books.

Interesting debate on the other channel re Scancell’s current funding/trials and future funding/trials .

Personally, I feel most LTHs would be very unhappy at any form of dilutive funding at the current SP...especially after the comments at last years AGM from Lindy. I hope that the ever elusive deals hinted at come to fruition and / or milestone payments from Genmab fund us beyond H2 next year without needing to tap the market . The investors presentation with the annual results is going to be interesting and will reveal all .... the golden question is ... will we get a trial update on Scib / Moditope beforehand??? If not , why would any investment outfit turn up ...they could read all the current info for themselves and they certainly aren't going to attend for the biscuits : ))

Well, there was much hope and expectations from last years agm and alot of inferred SP inflection points for the year ahead....we can all reflect on what has been delivered since....once again LTHs stand on the brink of success ...

Magnet, yes, SCLP drifts on no news but something could drop at anytime and we have the Investor presentations coming up that may stimulate some buying. You only need to look at OBD and VAL to see how quickly this may turn when sentiment turns positive ...

C11, I personally don't understand your problem with Cleanerworld . She does brilliant research ...for example ...was trying to highlight the link between Scancell and Texas lab before anyone else. Yes, some of the links posted may be wide of the mark and may not be directly related to Scancell... but they all help to paint the wider picture .
