....every 4 weeks... does this fit in with the Scib dose schedule???

I really hope it's Scib referred to in the article but was the date prior to scib trial starting ?

Looks like the vast majority of shares traded this am were sells. Interesting, yesterday morning it was a flurry of buys in a short space of time...today its completely opposite... but all traded in a short space of time from 9:25 onwards. The sells this morning must have come from an individual seller.

AGM soon...Will we get any news beforehand?

Dragon, agree with you , the DBO was indeed a fiasco and I believe directly caused a fall in the SP. Scancell want to continue with them ...so I guess we move on.

Perhaps not the one we were expecting but certainly a targeted audience... and who knows.. perhaps a pharma or 2 were in the audience and it may have confirmed what they were reporting back to those holding the cheque book !

TF, you can't argue that prior to the last RNS we rose strongly whether the info came from Scancell or not .

TF, with respect , there are plenty of shares that rise strongly just prior to news that can only be put down to news leaking / insider dealing or whatever the term is. This week for example look at the trades in Hotel Chocolate the day before Mars offered a huge premium.

I live in hope of 50p + and the little red dot .

Remember the SP rose strongly before the last significant RNS ... no longer the tight ship ...so fingers crossed.

Perhaps it's a good sign that shareholders ( other than Redmile/Vulps) are being treated with the usual disregard. Scancell are obviously not needing to tap us for funds : )

Dracula, Martin Diggle has a good record, not that I have... but in the future.... will buy / sell when he does.

BOJO, yes, it's incredible that we have drifted to 11p despite the amazing clinical progress this year. SCIB...well those results to date are amazing and modi results with ovarian cancer are spectacular. Scancell have also strenghtened the board with strategic appointments. So why are we at 11p is beyond me. Scancell must surely be very vulnerable to a buyout especially with the strength of the US dollar. I appreciate the bio sector is out of favour but all pharmaceutical companies need to future plan their pipelines. They can either start from scratch or buy up a company like Scancell. What would be both cheaper for them and reduce timescales for developing drugs to market ? Again, we have had Scancell being very active at conferences this year. We must be on afew radars by now.

BOJO, if you believe 24 p is current value then I may get my 50p if a deal is made on one platform.

I guess the best way to invest in Scancell is to follow the personal trades of Diggle . Looking at his trades in SCLP and OBD he seams to call it right on most occasions. Thankfully all his latest trades in SCLP were buys... and at a greater price than today !

The trouble is BOJO, everyone knows that the science is great...and potentially ground-breaking...for example, could

SCIB + CPI combination now become the standard of care ? That said, all LTHs can now anticipate what will be said at the AGM. I just wish that the inevitable "near term inflection points" and the "interested parties" eventually translate into a deal. How may of us LTHs thought that we would be at 11pence after last years AGM ? With the SP almost at rock bottom there is little point in selling ..so more of the same at this years AGM.

Dracula, yes, as long as the tumors are shrinking it's great news. I know its very important to understand the process and timelines especially for novel drugs and potential deals. ...however as a patient 6mts or 1 year into treatment all you want to hear are the words " cured" "remission" "stable" and to have a relief of symptoms.

As I have said the micro details are very important especially as we are trying to get deals.... but the main takeaway is that SCIB appears to be working .

Dracula, I hope that the recent appointments will certainly boost the firepower of Scalp to match the science. Hopefully we now have the perfect balance...a great scientific team backed up by a great management.

As always , any offer for Sclp would need the approval of Redmile and Vulps who could effectively block a cheap takeover. If they are happy to ride out the SP decline for the anticipated promised reward ...I guess all is well .

It would certainly be a jolly day to have an RNS saying Scancell have rejected a bid approach. Now that would certainly help the SP : ))

BOJO, Drac and WTP....Good posts this evening. It does look like it's another extended wait until Scib results ...unless a pharma decides to make an early offer. Guess the question is, do you stay invested and accept that we are most likely going to revisit year SP lows ...or risk selling up and buying again at these lows. Danger is one could easily to be caught out if something happens. Will we get a boost from the AGM ...hopefully...Will we get a surprise offer....again, hopefully. I'm sure that afew majors could afford to offer an indicitive 50p from their reserves to purchase an amazing pipeline. LD said a 90 % chance of the extended Scib trial repeating the excellent results. Surely this may be enough to tempt an early offer . Certainly far more expensive after trial sucess. It all depends on what Vulps / Redmile consider as a decent return, their investment timeline and their confidence in the trial results.

As you guys know, I would accept an offer of 50p a share.
