The total lack of buying is most likely due to instutional funds most indicating that they wanted a buy in price at 11p ..this was met and its killed any buying in the market as they got their discounted price.

...two industrial giants.... and it goes to show how quickly a product can advance with the backing of heavyweights . With luck it may, just may, stimulate a rival to look at Scib results.

Konar, if its product ready...just a question of selling it . With funding sorted Scancell could therefore have some bargain leverage in potential negotiations.

It doesn't sound like a quick process...and i simply can't understand why mouse safety studies were not submitted with the original application. Surely mouse work was done in developing Scib1+.....so why not submit the data with the original application.

Why did Scancell leave such a gap between the instutional offer and the retail offer? There was always the risk that the sp would fall.

Stakis, if you subscribe in the oo the money ...every penny... goes to Scancell. This money will be used to enhance the company's sucess....so if you already hold Scancell then you are in affect helping to enhance YOUR own chance of success. Buying in the market...not a penny will go to Scancell . The advantage is that you will get exactly what you order. You can subscribe for more in the open offer but it will be a lottery of allocation. Good luck! remember...according to Trinity , Scancell s fair value is 37p .

Marcus posting more deals on the other site...we know from LDs comments our mabs are being looked at and evaluated so there's interest that may eventually result in a deal . Hopefully with RG gone ...mates rates won't apply anymore either.

Crackin, perhaps that's why the instutional allocation was increased ? Were Scancell advised that if the sp falls below 11p shareholders would be reluctant to dip into their pockets again so get as much from the instutional investors while you can...so let's increase their allocation to compensate.

Jack, C11 ,Cleanerworld....true ...all would give the share a boost but we have had all of these events in the past but have been unable to maintain the momentum... and we sit well funded with excellent data at 11p. We need a sniff of a bid to break the cycle. 39pence increase needed to achieve my first exit point which hopefully is achieved next year . We "should" be at Trinity's valuation at least ! All to play for and hopefully Moditope +cpi is getting results!

Cleaner, the only advantage of buying in the open offer is the money goes directly to Scancell and this money could help ones investment. The current spread is pretty awful ...as is slipping below 11p on the bid. Some say we will move upwards post this placing??? I don't see it as a certainity, the big investors have been given a slice at 11p so they now don't need to buy on the open market.

Despite terrific progress the only way this share will move is on a formal offer for the company ,or a move to listing in the USA .

GF123, hope so. Is your reasoning that instutional investors will now know that another placing is 2025 or beyond...so they will now need to buy positions in the open market.

I hope the "new" investor(s) are in for the long term like Redmile, Vulps etc, otherwise the oppersite may just happen... they sell into any strength. Very pleased to be above the placing price! 50p target please !
