Thanks TF , and thank you to everyone yesterday for their excellent and informative posts. As TF says the "magic 30" is very significant. Also, I guess I hadn't really thought about the size of Redmiles investment in Scancell compared to the funds at Redmiles disposal. Redmile also have the reputation of supporting the companies they invest in.

Surely with Redmile the majority shareholder... they hold the cards ? Let's say a major approached them for their entire stake off book at ( just to quote my desired figure) 50p ....then that's it ! SP rises to 50 p and the pharma has the golden tickets and within a whisker of crossing the magical threshold for a compulsory bid. LD may privately make her pitch to Redmile but Scancell have no control.

Dalester... you raise excellent points but we still sit at 11p with half the SP we had this time last year despite very promising Scib results and hopefully Moditope may just get over the line with CPI assistance. Our products have been doing the "conference round " for awhile. I fail to see how all those majors with patent expiry etc etc are not aware of Scancell’s pipeline...why are they not interested @11p @36p @50p . Yes, still in trial but worth a punt surely ...we sit at sub £100 millio so a premium totalling 36p- 50p per share is small change to majors. Cheaper to make a move now and achieve competitive advantage than risk paying more later or giving rivals the opportunity. Are they risk adverse at the current time...or simply just not interested. Yes, we are told afew are sniffing around the mAbs but SCIB and Moditope must be the goose that will lay the golden egg. Time will tell . At least the US investment houses liked what they were told at the recent fundraising and took a punt but they were offered 11p a share.

Also, it's not what LD wants for the company she handed that responsibility over to Redmile.

Dragon, at the time ...and I still agree with you that the account fiasco destroyed the SP . Totally not in Scancell’s control but I would have certainly changed auditors. Anyway ...the harm is done and no use raking that over again .

Also agree the 10% spread is killing any incentive...why such a spread?

Jamboian, share your frustration and I am well below my average buy in price also. My exit target is 50p but may need to lower this even further I'm afraid.

I disagree that there has been no positives for the share price. I think that there has been afew positives over the past few months...SCOPE updates and the successful fundraising. However, Scancell just isn't " lucky" and never builds or consolidates on any positive SP increases or news.

We trade at a heavy discount to Trinity's fair valuation...hopefully fundmanagers looking for growth may be tempted. I certainly think when the uncertainty around Moditope is lifted by a positive RNS (hopfully) the SP will fly. We will then have Scib and Moditope passing major hurdles and the future will be excellent!

BOJO, well , we have just raised funds...and we all know unless deals come they will need to raise again at some point.

I hadn't expected an investor presentation as I thought this was done and dusted "behind the scenes" while "doing the rounds" for the fundraising. But I guess that was to corporate finance, perhaps this is more aimed at shareholders and fund managers? We could certainly do with some investment lifting the SP.

May even get a curve ball ...NASDAQ ??

SP hasn't recovered today from that little sell flurry at around 9am. Funny how afew little sales can knock 4% off the SP during quiet periods.

Hi TF and Balerno, yes, an update on modi would be welcome indeed.

Personally, i don't think an investor presentation is on the cards anymore after the fundraising and exposure at the JP conference. Scancell has money in the bank so no longer need to court investment. We need to wait for SCOPE and Modi to raise the shareprice. My confidence in SCOPE is high... it would be nice to know modi is working well in combination with the CPIs .

Hello old friend! Your post this morning was very moving on so many fronts. I wish you every happiness in life.

Scancell... what can you say....its been a journey indeed. I'm sure many of us held , and hold, the dream of making a fortune while supporting a company with potential life saving developments. I , too, thought the journey would be far shorter than it has transpired to be. Being a LTH in Scancell is like being caught in quicksand...often the shareprice sinking beneath you dashing hopes and dreams but always the hope of relief as the science seams outstanding. At the moment I believe we are on firm ground with great prospects to achieve a decent return...its just the ever increasing timescale. Life continues beyond Scancell and we sometimes we need to shift our goals. Personally, I need my 50p target as soon as possible and I doubt I will hold beyond this year but for the moment I'm still hopeful and I think all is still to play for.

Enjoy your life C7 ...and beware of getting caught in the quicksand once again, but if you do ...then you deserve every bit of luck !!!

C11, hopefully SCIB has proved now to be totally safe at this stage. Its been given to a fair number of patients now. Also Moditope must be getting to that stage. Nothing certain untill the RNS , but like you...confidence is high.

Thanks Johny for the update. Interesting that the new investors don't cross 3% , I wonder if any were scaled back to meet the demand . Scancell said the interest was strong. They could always increase their stake by buying on the open market and lift us from this wretched 10p !

Morning TF, if a major pharma wanted to bid could they directly approach Redmile or Vulps to buy their holding "off book" and therefore not directly buying on the open market and pushing up the price ? Is this ever done ?

Looking like someone has dumped around 700000 in 4 blocks .

Looking through the RNSs for last year, 2023, I counted six conferences that Scancell attended and either gave poster presentations or spoke at.

These were prestigious events....so yes...Scancell’s product pipeline should be well known in the industry. We know a pharma is looking at one of the mAbs ...and we achieved the Genmab deal ...so hopefully another fish will bite !
