On BBC news page trial of a combined Shingles/flu and covid vaccine. I know Scancell are completely out of this race ...bit interesting all the same while it's quite here.

As the investors event was held so soon after the placing - it is no wonder the SP has attracted no material interest ....I guess everyone took their stake at the placing and now its a waiting game for positive trial results.

Very pleased to see BDO gone. Scancell’s SP still hasn't recovered from their delayed audit fiasco.

Guess with the time this has taken to develop (not all Scancell’s fault...Ichor device , covid etc) there was always the risk of competition catching up or developing new pathways. This why Scancell should "push" the original Scib results with its incredible swimmer charts... now 5+ years post trial ...alongside the current results. This combination of results may really give Scancell the competitive edge.

Nice rise in Genmab today...come on Scancell throw us a bone 🙂

More often than not these days there always seams to be a "sell" trade at the close around 4.30pm . If you then look at Google finance Scancell constantly appears to be going down afew % most days.

Morning WTP, yes we are thinking the same ....hopefully some serious number crunching going on.

If I'm correct we know from previous interviews 3 companies were reviewing the antibodies...its now 5, with some wanting exclusivity. The initial companies must be nearing the end of their lab work. Do they like what they see so much that it is one or more of these that want exclucivity??

Or is it a newcomer that's behind the time curve and wants to "block" their rivals? A clever move by Scancell ...making positions public without breaching confidence. It also injects some sense of urgency...wait too long to make your move and you miss out ! It proves the point that as time ticks on, Scancell platforms will be more expensive to buy / license.

The " liklihood of sucess " for all platforms is quite low don't you think ? Especially for immunobody @ 5-10% ...surely Scib is knocking that out of the park already??

Also , interesting to note the Peak sales and the Royalties attached to each product. All launch dates for each platform is around 2029-2030.

Lower valuation of 33p ( from 37 to reflect the dilution of the last fundraising) .

I would expect other instutional investors would use a similar valuation model as TD ...and I include "in house " pharma accountants etc in this theory. On that basis it must be tempting for fund managers to invest... and using the same logic ... a pharma to bid for a platform or for Scancell as a whole.

Disappointed we haven't initially risen post the presentation, but let's see if LD and Trinity have more clout than Share prophets.

Hopefully we will have stimulated some interest from fund managers who specialise in healthcare / Biotech stocks . Do we know if the meeting was well attended ? Thanks to all who provided feedback, it was much appreciated . It certainly sounds like everything is on track and the potential for deals this year are a strong possibility. Deals have been eluded to before...but the difference this year is the strengthened management team now behind LD and the science....this give me greater hope a deal will be concluded.

Bobbust...indeed the spread is tighter than "advertised" but many only see the advert of 10%.

It's been 10% for afew days now and as Dragon indicated...it puts people off . Is it a reflection on the low volume traded recently?
