wtf! I am talking about Tree Shakes and terminology related to its effectiveness here, if I describe the term correctly, as meaning to shake out the weak holders. i.e. a Tree Shake. You are a funny one. Thanks anyway.

yup, so why not make the SP volatile with tree shakes daily and not just a sign of news coming/to spook the P/I's. A Tree Shake is typically seen as a precursor to news and to spook investors isn't it? That's what shaking the tree is doing - gathering the low hanging/weak fruit and so my point was as stated - per se it doesn't do that here, so it isn't fit for purpose or should we give it another name instead??

the MM's do a tree shake, when it's known and shown that all it does is get P.I's to load up and buy cheaper. Just as happened and occurs each time? I thought the theory was that a Tree Shake spooks holders into selling, but it pushes them to buy more and that's quite predictable here, so what's the theory?

not until after I wrote mine did I see your post - obviously. Anyway, you did mention it, so well done. It is feeling like the old days as of right now though with sentiment and direction pulling opposite ways. Let's see what AR delivers and hopefully soonish before we test 0.16p

nobody will comment on the subsequent 2 6.2 mill sells then LOL Price holding up well. Right now - it's a repeat of the old days. Tons of expectation, hope and positive bias as one buying opp after another mysteriously arrives. That's not to say I believe it other than very promising, but really posters narrative and views are so one sided. Where's the poster who expected 0.20p to be broken?

I am grateful for the 2nd chance and very appreciate of AR stepping in to the rescue. Just an observation on how news is greeted and the general bias, which does seem rather clear generally. I'm sure a 10 mill sell would be twice as good, as there's always someone on the other side after all - right. The point is you have to go same way for news to be taken as anything other than positive in some places. I myself am positive here with AR, but equally I am stating what I see as a general bias. Just saying it is a well worn path when posters comment all one way to almost anything, it's a bias being applied and people are bullish, so why not just admit the bias and be done with it? I think it's clear and I illustrated it well enough and whilst I fully agree this is a new start, I have seen it all once before, so it better do what it says on the Tin this time - and I think, hope, pray and expect it will this time. LOL, chuckle, hee hee

5 mill. Wow, big trade. News leaking. Someone knows something. Future looking good - someone's confident. It was a sell! - sp uneffected, MM's happy to take 'em. Under 10k's worth, swings & roundabouts...... It just goes to show bias applied imho and us long termers know it well. Every good snippet pushed and poor excused. Irrespective, I just hope this time it does what it says on AR's tin and delivers. I expect so.

You know what? I agree AR is a breath of fresh air to a stale smell. All/most of what you say can be seen to be the case. However we have often been quick to assume good things are coming - not least having been told so - but let's see if we get CGG taking 25% and announcing contracts. Been there before on expectations or hopes and most aren't delivered, but are shareholders factoring in all sorts of potential blue sky logical, could be, should be, must surely be dreams. I say a guarded maybe and no more is about right. We'll see and it certainly would be great news

Jimb2, People also absolutely shouldn't be surprised if it doesn't happen either - that's the usual story I am afraid. Unless, of course, you have more than an educated hope.
