When the 24.6p floor for a bid was previously discussed I recollect a poster pointing out that if TMO bid they must at least match the highest price already paid to secure a material shareholding or something like that in any formal buyout. Perhaps someone knows or has time to search past posts .. Anyway my take-away was it was a requirement that tfo pay 24.6p or above if they make a formal bid for premaitha.

I'd have thought never the less that parent company Espirite may be on the hook for Genomas debts but depends on cimpany structure and articles of association. I would hope they get forced to discharge their liabilities even inspite of all you point out, though probably best to wtlrite it off and hope for the best.

Brainspark's delay re illumina negs came to nowt - so far anyway. Concerning about not learning fromone defeat and wanting to fund another (imv). We are badly in need of clear and material good news in interims. Not the typical good news that sees the share price fall further and certainly not more bad news. It's about time that just for once our surprise is of the good variety that increases mkt cap!!! and please don't wait to issue interims tomorrow on new yrs eve.

imv Brainspark got the Monday news delivery correct and the platform offer also. His track record is otherwise addmitedly very weak.

well, afaik it was mentioned here (Brainspark) re using Illumina platform in UK/EU some time ago. And it's my assumption to link that to my other assumption that TFO had a hand in our decision to go the distance in court. Seems likely with that resulting platform outcome after we lost and assuming it's an educated guess that stands up better than Brainsparks interims reporting date.

well, they need good will and experienced employees to stay. Letting it go to the wall would result in a bidding war and TFO losing their foothold obtained by equity holding (wouldn't it) and damage to brand and customers etc. Far too uncertain and risky when TFO are all set as things stand with TFO's heavy involvement in commercial and financial aspects - not to mention TFO quite likely to be reason we did not settle and evidenced by reported allowance to move over platforms in UK/EU.

BOD have screwed up, certainly on going the distance when the "we do not infringe anyway" red line statement was apparently made of tissue and Illumina just ran straight through it. Dr Little should be on a written warning and attending Gambers Anonymous!! It was not a fact we could prove and as such must be seen as a gamble too far. Hero or Zero and we now know which. I don't have any doubts that TFO are still on board, but I suppose there could be a timing issue to settlement terms and any funding agreement that may link into a reporting delay. Do you really think with Yourgene sales and imbedded partnerships with TFO in Brazil and other stuff we are partnered with them and exciting new product coming up AND their investment to date,that TFO would say Nah!!!

Whilst your concerns may sound plausible imv they are not remotely likely. There is too much shared synergy and partnership for TF to abondon us and we are their route to platform sales in the biggest expanding markets not effected by Illumina and representing most of our business. If anything i'd expect the opposite - that TFO are willing to give us a sizeable loan for equity and we are starting to think it's getting a bit close to selling us off on the cheap, but I don't think any of this funding talk is the reason for interims delay. I do agree it's Illumina settlement negs. The going concern question is panic driven and wrong. aimho

even if you are right, the only rationale for delaying interims is if we can conclude and announce a writ settlement before end December when nothing usually gets done. Otherwise, what's the point in delaying?

Brainspark.......... Have you been told any more of those educated guesses? I'd wager you have, after completely missing interim delivery date and pushed into the dead zone after Xmas. Pray tell?

One of great expectations followed by immense and numerous disappointments. Great shame to be over 3 years in and sitting at half the float price awaiting last minute interims . What a let down to loyal shareholders who so far have once again been persuaded by a bod who have presided over fundings, dilution and destroyed shareholder value whilst continually talking up prospects. The journey to date absolutely reminds me of Vialogy!!!

Unfortunately and although very different to Vialogy. It has felt exactly like the same journey so far!!!

reasons for interims delayed reporting..... Funding being sorted - more pressure results on share price. Settlement being sorted - share price re-rate. Or most likely both! We are certainly due something other than the 5hit that normally results!!

Welcome back (hee hee) Yes, let's really hope so or the delay and late reporting would otherwise be pretty poor.

like every chance of going sub 5p pre interims and then depends on content. At least interims will be this week. Expect mid-week and around the time Brainspark starts posting again,unless sp still remains without better days. It just seems impossible for our bod to call anything right.
