Masterblaster, Looking at my target list, I happen to think all of those things will come in 2018. I mean apart from the settlement and TO, they are otherwise basically booked for 2018 delivery. Hence I think so long as we settle in q1 (q2 latest) as I hope/expect rather than appeal, i see every likelyhood for 2018 to deliver it all (50p), but may need 2019 for final TO, though I expect 2018. Announce some good contract wins to reach low 20's New product launched to low/mid 30's To take up any slack in above targets we get a boost from reaching profit confirmed and EU comm. TO at 50p+ A dream now(?) or still achievable in 2018/19? I think it's realistic and very possible but wtfdik lol

I would mention wrt on target to hit sales and profitability forecasts. Whilst reaching profit is officially by end financial year 31/3, I think we all know from agm chats etc that the unofficial target was to have completed that task by end December. Now end January!

What I was referring to was tw's bearcast from yesterday or day before where he talks about his share tips and wondered what he said about premaitha there. It is a subscription service, so wondered if any subscriber had listened to this bearcast?

What did tw say in yesterday's bearcast, as he ran through his shares including premaitha? Anyone? The eu comm and anti competitive practices is another matter though, where illumina are rightly vulnerable. Imv, our writ issue stems from, in the first instance banking on not getting sued as the players were fragmented and we had some sort of gentleman's agreement. Then sequenom and illumina got together and formulated a pooled agreement etc and our safety net went down to the strength of our case and work around and interpretations in a court of law. Sketchy and so far a disaster. We should settle under any terms that are commercially acceptable and that is what I interpret DR Littles comment in rns to mean. The illumina writ is lost and we should accept that. The antitrust eu comm case seems to me to be the arena where we can salvage some much needed assistance and Dr Little some much needed competency.

Good for illumina. If they have granted and valid patents that have been infringed then they should screw any challenger who tries to sneak around them. Although that seems to include us and we duly failed miserably and also failed to get a workaround allowed. The landscape is clear and we need now to settle. The judge would not impose a settlement when we have a right to appeal and sought to do so.

Question.... If the appeal us unsuccessful then surely the two alternative processes which I assume relate to processing in Taiwan remain unworkable? As we know, the current ruling will not allow for this hoped workaround, so if appeal not successfull and no settlement, we can't move processing. I think illumina will say yes to a a settlement that is painful for us, but manageable. To refuse a change of platform in uk and license fee in the face of the judge and/or eu comm otherwise deciding would be suicide by their own hand. It just takes us to point this out and to make it so. Illumina are many things, but not suicidal in giving all the ammo we need to present by refusing such a deal.

IMO the bod really need to secure a settlement and move on. Recent news can only assist in this task. I simply don't believe waiting at least another year to lose again (imv) is at all sensible and its likely meantime for illumina to turn focus to eu writs after eu comm report. We completely misjudged once already so let's do the sensible, pragmatic and sound judgement call for once.

Yes, they get sacrificed often too. Aren't we shareholders all sick and tired of being spun a line and then just not living up to more than delay or non-delivery. I still expect a settlement but all past experience says the result will be disappointment.

Indeed, which is why I expect we will get a settlement just as you once did. Why you have changed that tune remains beyond me and still unanswered. It's not in their interest just to take a salary and choose to be a pawn. It does not make any rationale business sense.

Brain, How about answering a question? I expect the bod do know they stand little chance winning an appeal, so why all of a sudden have you given up on the settlement you were clearly expecting? Not many think we will go for a lengthy and costly appeal that you are now promoting in your about face.

About this for a delusional prediction.... Settle with illumina and share price back above 10p. Announce b/e, new contracts and new product and share price in the 35p. Tfo buyout for 50p. Hemo, I didn't understand your post. Agree for current investors things would look pretty bleak without TFO,s continued support. I don't doubt that it will remain. Hence post writ settlement we have a good shot at well over 15p, though perhaps not 50p

Apparent when things go against Brainspark view he doesn't post for weeks, but now his agenda has changed he doesn't stop posting for long! As I have stated throughout though perhaps not so directly, Brainspark is rather a 5hit!
