Out of luck there payday From final results, Sept 2016..... we have decided to focus in the short term on the reproductive health space and our activities are based around tests to support in vitro fertilisation and pre-conception screening for genetic diseases. We remain interested in applications of our technology in cancer screening but this field has not yet developed beyond the research and discovery phase and we will maintain a watching brief before investing in the best applications in this space

Thanks for explanation. I rather felt as latest monthly report and developments since, led to figs requiring an as yet unavailable rework. Nov old data was redundant in any meaningful way. Feb report as should fill in and seems to be due typically into 2nd week of the month

Whats going on on this BB? There was a time when i was almost a lone voice of caution. Now everyone is in on the act lol Soi, stop talking down your investment please, as I was asked. There has been some poor management, but imv blame lays mainly with those who have the knowledge and authority to determine our actions rather than those who are then guided by expert advice. So Dr Little is my top pick for the mess. As I said at the time we delayed for a year on grounds to partner Ariosa in a joint defence . it was because we were not as confident as we claimed and needed to buy time. This also became apparent in the toning down to expect a mixed verdict as the hearing drew nearer. Now, we are where we are and if we can negotiate an acceptable settlement covering 321 and EU, we should be well set to put this long running saga behind us. Imv Dr Little should stick to the science. He is not suited to run a plc.

Btw, agree. Most pressing is a settlement. It's the core foundation imv Not ignoring other points. Just not ( for various reasons) letting them overshadow and that includes for now funding concerns.

Lol. Correct. I've been largely right too. I accept 50p is a tall order from here, but it IS possible imv. Anyone who thinks it is not even possible, please explain why a settlement with illumina, confirmation we are in profit, new sizeable contracts and new product launch can't propel the shard price back into the 30's. Those fundamentals deserve at least 30p/35p imv. Then a TO iro 50p. Ignore funding issues and tell me please why that is NOT even possible? Mind you, I too would accept 25p right now to be done with this never ending drama!

Imv, We just need all the newsflow I mentioned to get us back anywhere into the 30's. From there a TO price of 50p becomes a realistic possibility. Not such an impossible task as you make it sound, but certainly we may fall short. Aimho

Flipper, For the avoidance of doubt. I do not expect 50p end game, but I certainly say it IS possible in best case. Some, you may remember ;-) were expecting a settlement in a matter of 2 days and last week and that really was ridiculous based on what we knew, but still it was out there. It didn't happen as was quite obvious. Imv if will happen and should be before 321 hearing, but there's never any guarantees here - just like the possibility of 50p as things overshoot on the up side for a change IF things go best case scenario for once.

Not just possible. It should be achievable with a change of platform and license fee. If not how can eu comm come to any other decision but that illumina must be punished for anti competitive practices.? Suppose illumina's grand plan is to refuse a reasonable settlement and even a fantastic one with change of platform and tell eu comm to bring it on! Lol

And..... Imv we had a settlement before Nov hearing as brain stated which tfo blocked and the potential after form of order hearing says to me its at least possible to do so again. If not then after judges indication, he can settle it if illumina refuse. Either way of course it's possible with eu comm anti trust being briefed on illumina's anti competitive demands wrt negs.

Absolutely. Settlement is the first and necessary step to anything . cost provision, judges 10% indication and form of order hearing should have helped and more specifically than Ariosa case

I think there is a chance, though it probably doesn't look like it from here. Nobody would have suggested 5p or even 10p when in 30's either. Funding issue has me generally unconcerned actually, but generally delivery needs to be met as agree, its been horrendous far too often and for far too long! We will see
