Only pride I take was calling the market reaction to news correctly. Well, its nice to give a view on SP to news and be correct. No enjoyment in seeing it go down or on others losing money or missing lower prices, just puzzlement at such an unnecessary and obvious miss and perhaps a little caution about those who only push the positives.

In the bigger picture I think he's right to broadly buy now. However point was if he was as influential and his buy worthy to be made a flag bearer of significance as you pushed , for me he needs to demonstrate better common sense on timing. It's rare to have verdict known before rns and to not then wait for official rns and predictable market reaction. I do find that buzzare but no enjoyment. Why on earth would that give me any joy!! I took enjoyment? No. I stated he got it wrong and it was imv quite obvious and others who tried to ascribe that it was a sign of what to expect (you possibly) were wrong. If buyer was astute he would have waited for rns before buying. No enjoyment judt plain facts.

Not sure I follow these replies. Flipper, you said big buyer would have bought after 321 verdict was made public and before today's rns. That was supportive and showing buyer was perhaps expecting a rising SP on rns release or hopes of such. I simply said rns with 321 news would yield an initial fall. Just as happened and now comment that as this was imho entirely predictable then yesterday's big buyer cost himself money rather than wait a few hours for his big purchase. I expect he thought news would give rising sp or he would wait to buy. That view was buzzare IMHO and I commented as such

Meaning if we talk up big buyer as in the know and clever money ahead of rns confo of known news. It always detracts if buying large before an entirely predictable fall. A tinge of stupid money.

So, as suggested yesterday that big buyer could indeed have waited for lower price this morning on the known 321 verdict confirmation rns, that we expect was the catalyst for that buy.

Hi Florida, Well, you are right that illumina delayed though not provable, what you didn't originally mention at all was we were delaying and sought to and succeeded at our instigation. Worth a mention if we are discussing 321delays I think. Does that help give a full picture to 321delays ;-)

A few points I believe those that know SL well have the view that he is not a business man. We (Premaitha) delayed the 321 hearing as the judgement says, so Florida that part is wrong. A significant court case ruling was given prior to the start of ours in July 2017. Illumina won and so judge Carr did not set this ball rolling for illumina. Otherwise we look forward through the latest mess to stopping in UK, confirming b/e and contracts/new product with final T/O this year.

I think everything said by flipper and Brainspark is correct. Personally expect an initial drop and recovery. Recovery only would be welcome though ;-)
