I will not be parting with any ODX until they are (very) well north of £2.75.

I rest my case.

I'm all for being positive about ODX, it certainly has potential to grow very significantly from here, but an anecdotal story about 1 share doing a near x100 isn't 1 bit relevant. Sure people often sell out too early, but equally often miss the peak and regret not selling earlier. Neither of those generlisations are particularly pertinent to ODX.

If someone came on here and said they once held a share that went to 60p, but instead of selling held, and it went down to 1p (roughly the reverse of your story), they would be lambasted.

I'm not sure if this requires an RNS. It's just the publication of a Contract that's already been the subject of an RNS (https://www.lse.co.uk/rns/ODX/uk-government-contract-for-uk-rtc-ni9se8p1la3tcgf.html).

RNS Vis-a-Vis the publicised contract is confusing for sure. If the publicised contract is for 1M tests, then the RNS covers it, and perhaps there is something in that £10M to cover some capital costs or whatever. Or, as has been conjectured, the gov is paying more per test than initially suggested. I can't see the RNS stating 1M tests, when the contract actually for more than 1M tests. Another possibility is that although only 1M test have been officially announced, payment has been made to allow forward buying of more raw kit, as the gov expects to increase it's order and does not want to be held back by lack of raw materials ?

The £10M is confusing. Is there some sort of start-up cost, capital expenditure, or forward buyiny of more raw materials than the initial 1M test

That statement is incorrect, ODX RNS said they will get AT LEAST 25% of the orders, which is entirely different "has up to 25%"

simple, this is a government order, and clearly the agreement was the Gov would announce the order. ODX could not announce it until the Gov did, and as soon as practical the company had to do an RNS. Hence the RNS within a couple of hrs.

I suppose you can continue to try to change RNSs to suit your narrative.

You clearly did not read the RNS, it says "not less than 25%", and yet you magically turned that into "up to 25%"

That 1M is suspiciously the same number as was leaked by BBI a couple of weeks back. Wonder if CK's low profile regarding an RTC order in the presentation is due to the fact that he knew the initial figure and accepted it might not be startling

Given ODX's ramp up, never mind the other manufactures, 1M is likely a week or 2 output of the 3 combined.

It's hardly a massive underpinning of the entire RTC program. You'd want to hope it's just a sampler.

LOL, the conflict in those fews words is amusing, made only more so by the complete obliviousness of the poster.

For sure, CK is a technical guy, not a PR guy. It says a lot that the interviewer was the one putting life into the interview, and was the one that had the much more upbeat disposition.

But I guess there is an argument that you should prefer to invest in companies that have good future and outlook, rather than one that has good presentation but crap fundamentals.

Mind you, you could also argue that having both would be better again.
