You suspect incorrectly this RNS is marked as "Non-Regulatory", which means the company does not think it contains price sensitive information.

Not can be revealed there that is price sensitive information, if anything currently known that is price sensitive is discussed there, it will have to be precursored by an RNS.

Its a "post your sample back test", the webpage may have been updated, but the process outlined still says post your test back, i.e. no immediate result.

As trilla says, this isn't the UK-RTC test.

Thanks for that, the various tests and the relationships can sometimes get confusing.

Its not for home use, so the home use authorisation is not needed, as I understand it's already been qualified for use by professionals, which is what is listed as the target buyers.

What happened to the general consensus that the reason there were no order announcements was because they could only take pre-orders until the government confirmed their required volume.

That fact seems to be out the window, so why were they no orders prevciously ?

In my experience success has little to do with quality and all to do with promotion/marketing.
You can make serious money if you market absolute crap the right way. Take any of the 100s of cryptocoin ICOs that were doing the rounds until a few years ago.

Now I guess it's somewhat different in this field. Don't know much about it, but it's starting to look like lobbying / who you know can has a significant impact on contracts, not simply quality of product.

Although we'd all like confirmation of orders etc, I'm glad that the "news today", "Definitely a pm RNS", "There will definitely be an RNS on mon morning" "don't miss out news is coming tomorrow" crew are starting to abate.

It's pretty boring, cheap ramping, and all so that if a news item does drop they can be such the hero with an incredible insight.

On all the years I've been on-boards, I've seen endless "told you so posts", and can count on the fingers of one hand the number of "I was wrong" posts.

If there is genuine news in the press/twitter etc on ODX or associated companies/fields of work, this is the place for it, but we can all do without those that want to self-aggrandise.

your last comment has nothing to do with your original, in which you where conflating "doubt over antibodies" with the lack of doubt over the effectiveness of the vaccine ("But if you were to suggest there is no point developing a Vaccine because the immunity will wane in time , so you can not guarantee immunity you woudl be shot down. ").

My understanding is that the nature of a covid type infection is that although it can mutate, the way that the vaccine targets it means that the mutations does not affect the vaccines ability to provide resistance. Unlike Flu, it is expected that a successful Covid-19 vaccine will not need to be reformulated each year.

That's current thinking, mind you 'current' seems to change a lot when it comes to Covid.
