Well, in that test, the mologic test comes out pretty pure compared to the others.

Regarding the BMJ report linked above, if you look at the diagram, and I assume bars further to the right are better, it looks like in self-read, the mologic antibody test was 4th out of 5, and in observed read, it was 3rd of out 5.

Now is "mologic 1" the same as the mologic antiboy test that was TTed to ODX, or is that a different test.

If you are referring to the BMJ report that was linked above, as I have just said that is testing antibody tests.

That report does include mologic, but it's an antibody test report.

Basically the full evalution paper only names the innova test, saying its at stage 4 (i.e. liverpool), which the other candidates have not got that far.

Innova at this stage is in prime position and everyone else is playing catch up in getting on Santas good list. As I said before, no other tests were named. It would be disappointing if Mologic is not one of the others. It would mean that test is not even at stage 1. If the Innova proves to be good enough, there needs to be a compellig reason for UK gov to go with another test, either lack of volume or price.

ODX is not beholding to anyone in terms of the visitect test. They do not require an OK from mologic to announce sales, as this their own test, they just pay royalties to Mologic (if my understanding is correct).

Therefore it seems strange that if there is significant orders for the visitect product, this has not been announced.

None of what you said was correct
Some saliva tests use a swab to collect the saliva (rather than have the person try to aim a spit into something). This might well be mixed with some agent prior to being used in an LFT.
Some other on the spot tests used swabs to collect from back of throat/nose.

Use of a swab is no indication that a lab is involved.

Well, I'll be nervously excited tomorrow. If'our' tests get mentioned as good on vaildation, it'll be quite literally validation of ODX plan. There is a second part of that sentence I don't even want to consider.

After today's experience it appears that for too many people "good covid vaccine news = bad testing news".
So what happens ODX SP when this vaccine reports successfully on its next milestone (which is supposed to be getting emergency approval by end of Nov). If you think todays exposure was a lot, wait to you see the exposure in the UK media when the oxford university designed astra-zenica one releases positive trial news....and then apparent there are 4 other major candidates after that. Now the other side is if one or more have a misstep...it should be good for testing companies, which would be nice for shareholders, but not so nice....you know...for the world. :)

It's hard for ODX to get heard about that kind of exposure. We need Gov to make a big shouty shouty noise about RTC.

This is indeed correct. ADVFN boards were really slow, and died on me a few times, clearly it is much more robust than here. Charles stanley was also slow. Also heard people saying HL was dead.

If LSE are using the free services to encourage people to ungrade to the paid services, what I saw here today would encourage me to go for their paid-for services. You can accept momentary outages, but for it to be down for most of the trading day ??
