RE: Many misconceptions of ODX16 Nov 2020 20:28
broadly agree however :-
"It needs orders - So far they are consuming their capacity to the full. You cannot sell what you can make. The lateral flow market has barely opened up yet. Next year will be the year of the lateral flow. Its about cumulative sales, not just one big order."
ODX knows when the money is arriving for the 175K RTC test (it may have already arrived). I wonder how long ODX can continue to manufacture RTC test @200K a week (and other tests to match the ever increasing capacity), on the expectation of payment ? At the presentation, ODX indicated that there would be no fund raise required to expand right up to 2M capacity. But CK has also said that he previously understimated the timeframe for RTC orders. One assumes the projected cashflow to allow capacity expansion includes ongoing payments from the 200K a week from RTC, and of course for the other LFT that contribute to the ever rising capacity. CK also said they were looking to order more kit in Dec, as part of the capacity increase.
Until we see orders, which if significant would require RNS, I have a lingering worry that we have no visibilty regarding cash income. in Dec @ 500K a week, in a month one might easily see £2M cost in making the 2M test. I can't see ODX continuing to consume capacity to the end of december, based on the capacity projections, without cash coming in...i.e. without confirmed orders before then.
Orders would mean we have visible cash income.
