Interestingly nom I recently had a chat with a friend who is a recently retired ‘master of warfare’ in the RN. So basically he ran the offence/defences aboard ship(s).

I asked how does one of those frigates, with a canon up front and and missile, defend itself against a high volume assault by cheap drones. Say 1000.

They cost hundreds of pounds each. Most would be dummy’s and some would be carrying thermobaric devices that basically incinerate just about anything on impact. They may even attack strategically linked by AI.

Average now 111 having sold and bought cheaper. Got some at 105 and then at 99.9p on that fateful day! Posted it on TECAN at the time.

With 150 Nav this imo will stay range bound until new CEO addresses discount with meaningful actions. Only then will there be a SUPR type recovery as it’s alrady one of the least discounted in the renewables sector.

Still for yield chasers this is a gem, rpi based income that has historically been covered and increased and now with another Buy Back!

Nav is 1702m or approx 90p per share.

This deal values SUPR higher than published NAV.

Sp is a product of percentage of buys a sells and not alway asset value. The algorithm doesn’t account for hold. Just about clearing out those sellers that were looking for bond yields.

That can change quickly and Trump is helping by devaluing the USD and causing bond market uncertainty.

Expect more interest in uk high yielding discounted assets esp from US.

I have reduced here selling 2/3’s, started selling from a tad over 30p.

My average is 28p.

I reduced as I thought it would revisit the placing price.

Then we had tariffs which will likely have an impact on the pf companies (see Dukes website for list)

Then when 25p appeared I considered buying back but the large indicative sells put me off thinking it could go below 25p.

So I put my 2/3’rds to work elsewhere and fully intend to buy back here when I think the bottom is in and in time for the Q1 divi (xd around end of June)

Looking at the news, ‘Trump ending tit for tat tariffs (Reuters)’ - without exploring the tiresome politics, that could be a signal for a bounce here soon.

However, given I put some in AMRQ at 73p I may leave those there now but DUKE/RECI and LMP are collectively providing my January quarter on quarter pension income needs.

I sold LAND as they now plan to go bi-annual. AGR which also had the same income profile as duke has been taken over! So now I have a gap.

I am looking at VIP but it has a declining NAV albeit a good high yield and can’t really find anything else that pays quarterly from January.

Anyone have any ideas?
