Short lived I exited yesterday at a small loss. No idea why the sp hadn’t moved just up and down 5p then looking at today’s price movements glad I had. Have searched though and I can’t see any reason but can’t sit around without a buffer. Just cut loss moved to watch list. Anyone any ideas?

Interesting that the Dow futures are now showing 500 pts up on Gilead covid 19 progress. They have discounted GM’s abysmal figures, Boeing’s disastrous order book and even the GDP figures down 4.8 v 3.5% decline. No ‘all’ the market is interested in from a headline perspective is how Gilead is going to save the day. And look at their MCAP!

Think laterally and DON’T LET THIS PRICE FOOL YOU!!!

I have reduced my holdings here to a more balanced position based on revisiting the FinCapp video and news of the new ‘home trial”. I still have a decent holding but I have banked some and used funds elsewhere while I await the next turn for SNG. My rationale is that I do not think they are getting patients early enough in the covid-19 cycle to realise the maximum benefit of SNG001. Whilst I am confident in the efficacy because the trial continues the ‘new trial and commentary’ has made me reevaluate my position and that timescales for maximum value may come from the home trial as opposed to SNG001. The COPD phase 2 (my take) was not dependent on waiting for sick people to become very sick before they ended up in hospitals and then had to wait to be tested and then sign up. Sure there may be ‘early’ admissions and we can only assume that there is sufficient patients to meet the selection criterion which I think is tight. So I have rebalanced accordingly. I do realise that the next news could mean this was a really risk averse decision on my part but I am prepared to add again even if that means paying more if there is more surety in the price. Likewise if the SP dips I may add in more but for now I have taken a little bit off. I posted this not to ramp or deramp as many do but to hopefully share some alternative pragmatism which may or may not help the many newbies here and I couldn’t care less about the stick I usually get for having a different opinion.. I just sold elsewhere and added 5k at full ask 86p, think we just had a small seller seems to move on. I have a lot of these know in anticipation of news on masks within next couple weeks. I think the results will be ok, setcar may have a small cv19set back but the guideance should be positive and converting graphene apparel production to bio whatever it is ppe will have a massive reach. All imo of course.

Also re the P/e many tech stock this level would be 30-40 but they aren’t BTC. Be interesting how it’s valued, pe or revenue multiples tend to be a standard but whatever at least 20p t/o is a bargain imo.

There were obviously a few that top sliced/de-risked yesterday ahead of results. We tend to do Tue or Thur so had to be today, hence the drop.

Personally I think it’s a fantastic set of results, a 16m MCAP co with 1.39m +ve EBITDA and a reduced cost base in at least H2 (staff savings/one offs) and with increased capacity and revenue outlook. Even with increased difficulty levels our low breakeven and fix power costs make this a very compelling investment. You can bet others will be trawling through these numbers and just figuring out how much they can get this printing press for. I think it’s going to be very disappointing for lth’s here that we may never get to see true value. It looks like a pe of around 5 (I need to check later) if we could push to 20 even that is cheap but sadly I do think she’s now going to go. atb

It would have to be an antigen test, if so mologic or thermo Fisher are the only candidates. See mologic.com for info. Mologic also have an antibody test but not yet available for mass production. AVCTA test would be the preferred test for home use but not running yet. All imo

I survived the dot.com and the mining bubble (China GDP driven), many of the covid stocks will die right back to pre ‘hype’ levels. Few have the earnings streams yet, they are just guided, based on potential or deal pipelines. Sure some will go on to multi-bag.

However, I think what some folk may be falling into is a false assurance that anything covid related will boom. Atm, that seems to be the case. I have researched many stocks where I consider the risk is too high, there is a competitor in a more advanced position usually US or Japan or un-listed and folk miss them or the tech they purport will just be superseded before it gets off the ground or the balance sheet is under stress; and a combination of all those things amongst others.

So one can research everything and pick the winner(s) clearly impossible or one can just buy them all again pretty impossible especially for foreign/unlisted companies. So I guess like many you research what you think are the best however many and weight your pf accordingly. This is what I have done and if any one of the companies i picked completely tanked I would just be ok as long as the others held up or came good. Apart from AVCT that is because such is my exposure here I wouldn’t be able to recover it in a long time if at all. I have been mitigating that risk by averaging up. I made two more purchases here today which brings my average up quite a bit but I did that in anticipation of positive newsflow over the next two weeks starting i suspect with a Hambro TR1 and then some really juicy operational news in the next two weeks. That will hopefully restore my buffer. When we get to £2ish I will probably take a big slice out as watching the sp move the pf so significantly with every penny is something I am not used to! Appreciate everyone has differing strategies and I hope we all win here. Atb.

We don’t have any ADR’s. US can buy anytime on AIM. PSS holdings even though some were gained from US seed investors and European institution, I can’t remember names now but I posted at the time are all AIM listed even though the holdings company may be registered overseas.

The most significant thing with international holding companies is TR1 notifications, 5% as opposed to 3%

Not saying you don’t know but there is lots in the FCA handbook including holdings info e.g below which is worth keeping as I keep forgetting!
