Interesting the likes of Camostat are already well into clinical trials having identified the need to suppress S protein priming may be more successful albeit it’s still some way off.

Anyways I know we’ve been demanding of each other, rightly if done with evidence and civility. And as Masqood pointed out we are well into the trial, no news is good news. It is my opinion that if the efficacy changed the trial would be abandoned but it continues and is expanding to home use. I have learnt a lot this weekend. Thanks to all the posters here that have in the main responded positively and engaged in the spirit of a BB.

Here is the Bloomberg link to if you can get Covid twice from WHO. A bit disappointing from them I’d say as such a statement should be science backed rather than just intimation. Just my view so I guess everyone will disagree!

Ok I appreciate that mologic weren’t part of the original consortium. Do we know if it’s ODX or mologic tech. They may have joined forces following news of their antibody test. Hence I would appreciate if someone can post a link pointing to ODX tech. The reason I ask is following the news release from mologic Friday. Hi silly question but how does one time the administration of this vaccine. My understanding is you need to prevent the TMPRSS2 enzyme cleaving to the spike suppressing the ACE2 response. So it’s a before during or after scenario. Given it’s a vaccine I guess it’s before. If that is the case then this is a very long game and the likes of Camostat which are already well into clinical trials having identified the need to suppress S protein priming may be more successful. I am not a scientist I am just trying to work out the investment case/ risks here. I am not sure I understand the timing of administration and options other than they say scalable and second generation vaccine. Is that mass produced or in some way targeted.

I am selecting several companies to spread my risk and this is potentially one of them. Appreciate the shared research. Thank you.

Not sure I am a very rampy poster but no doubt I have have my moments. If it helps I learnt a little from IMM and MTFB and will as a consequence glean whatever I can from top posters. I have read it a couple of times and beg to differ. It’s clearly inconclusive and basically tells us what we already know.

We know the importance of the tmprss22 enzyme but its too late in the sequencing for ‘prevention’ to be effective. Sure they are superior cells but surely you have to capture before the cells enter via endocytosis/ cathepsin for activation. This is my point about knowing when to use SNG001. The paper you posted whilst I do not agree supported your argument it was nonetheless extremely helpful. Thank you.

it so goes on to describe physical manifestations of a breach. So given these markers and that they must be clear because they are referenced in the paper I can only deduce that there is a more scientific selection criterion. If this is identified via blood test or other means I have no idea but one has to be confident that the SNG team would know a point of no return (even if there is such a thing) before administering SNG001 rather than 24-48hrs. But then this is all guesswork o my part. ATB.

Hi Ghia, thank you, afraid not ADVFN and I fell out over my concerns about data protection issues (allegedly), as you probably gather I can be a pain in the arse and they didn’t respond to my questions sufficiently in my view ‘only’ so we parted company. They no longer hold my data. That’s entirely my view and cannot be proven so big IMO. Enjoying a glass of red now so tempered and chilled. Atb.

Yep read that tmprss2 from memory is an enzyme and there are certain tipping conditions, eyes, nasal gut presence and interferon overload, apologies for my limited knowledge but it led me to ask the question therefore is there a bio marker. Be great if some of the knowledgeable posters can answer. I think there is, I think that’s a reason for some of the home treatment. Catch early, but it would be more evidence defined than that. In physics think of a seesaw. Once a load exceeds that opposite it tips, you can calculate that using moment formulas. Surely this is similar?
