RE: The "wow" line!13 Oct 2023 12:44
Everything is on track but clearly from the market reaction the interpretation of the need to increase dosage to reach MTD is interpreted as a delay. Well that depends on individuals standpoint’s.
If you bought in here hoping the P1 would be imminent then fine. If you bought hoping the P1 will be delivered within the FDA/trial parameters and with safety and efficacy then this is great news. It means we can up dosage on new pts based on results so far. We have seen the video outlining the pt benefits and we now know that we still haven’t reached MTD. This will take longer but likely have higher rewards for pts and stakeholders.
Personally I am a little bit disappointed with this but it hasn’t changed my view on the end game. Even with the SP now below my average I always invested here for what I see as a high chance moonshot opportunity. That is actually looking more likely now not less likey and if the SP drops I will use divi income to add more.
The CPT will be completed now that IB is clearly differentiable from general imaging. So insurers will be able to use a specific code and claim costs back. They (insurers) won’t pay a higher price unless there are proven clinical benefits of using IB products. That’s partly what Dr S has done with her work.
The code will then enhance take up but it’s not something that in the meantime will significantly slow general uptake of IB products by clinicians/technicians. It will, however, mean eventually getting folk to use right codes on documentation, but there will be a financial and clinical incentive to do so.
Mike ahas also outlined the broader spectrum application of nimble and IB neuro which was asked earlier. This is really pioneering tech that is being adopted by leading institutions and could prove to be another revenue winner/sales opportunity.
Finally the vouchers. This will be applied for by the end of the month and there you have it, an AVERAGE price of 100m each for onward sale. Even 100m for the two might just turn the sp dial a little!
I think this is ostensibly the phase 2 funding incentive. Together with the ONGOING NIH grants and exploring new imaging grant opportunities it’s appears that yet again shareholders continue to get a ‘privileged’ non dilutive ride here. It’s just that Mr market can’t work that one out!
However, I maintain there must be some cash from GE. We will probable have to wait for the accounts to work out how much support they have had albeit unless told it will be included with grants.
My view on the sp prospects here hasn’t changed. It’s always been a buy and forget stock with what you can afford to loose. Pretty much like any stock I guess but I am sticking with 50p.
Should the vouchers land and we get buyer that could be sooner and ironically even before the p2 commencement! I didn’t see that one coming!
It’s only 0730 here, hence my delayed comments. Have a nice weekend all.
Usual caveats
