BUT I can see that Christina has been leveraged into Avacta by a partner. In fact I said the same myself when it was announced- that Novartis wouldn’t sign the deal unless Christina who they know and trust was put in control. Well done Penny

I believe that Dr Smith believes funding isn’t going to be a problem but he is known for being a little overconfident also what do you think would happen to the SP if he said “Well I’m a bit concerned but I’m sure things will be alright. “? So he’s hardly going to say that is he?

Incidentally my last bad tech investment was a disaster because the big boys refused to deal with the new minnow and just waited until it ran out of cash and bought the IPO at rock bottom price.

Re number of shares. Uncomfortable proportion of my savings/investments but won’t change my lifestyle if I lose it. I haven’t added since last July but seriously thinking about a few more at current prices. Issue is that I can make more elsewhere in the short time. My paper loss on Avacta isn’t as much a problem as missed opportunities investing the money elsewhere.

Lucky person though I must admit if SP stays flat until after payday I will probably grab a load because surely any offer if and when it comes can’t be much lower than £1 can it.

Sadly I don’t think BP see efficacy in one patient as compelling even when that spectacular.

Are you the same folk who were gobbling at 120p saying it couldn’t go any lower?

You’ve got it all wrong. No one knows about Avacta, that is why the SP is sooo low and no deals have been announced.

Definitely some fans of Redwillow Brewery on here. One of my favourite brewers.
