One tribe bemoans the low SP the other thinks that this is a genuine question and replies with some possibilities based on facts. P2 won’t even have started by mid 2024. Don’t know where you’re getting your timelines from ? Earliest we can expect P2 to complete is start 2026. Then a bit more wrangling and ramping up production and distribution channels with a full scale production maybe sometime in 2027. With 2028 the first full year at peak. Make it 2027 if you like but it won’t change the net present day value much. And at stage they may not feel inclined to distribute a large dividend.

Ok if not 2028 then based on what Al has said about P2 clinical trial timescale and assuming P3 not required as such, what year do you think that AVA6000 will have achieved its first year in mass production as the chemo of choice????

Ultimately investors want to see a dividend. At the moment it looks as if AVA6000 will be making millions in 2028 say. But that isn’t a certainty so deduct a proportion of the millions to reflect that uncertainty.

It won’t all be profit so deduct another large proportion.

Avacta will need to use money in research and development of further drugs so deduct another large proportion.

Finally accountants have a way of calculating a present day value of something we might get in 2028 which reduces the number still further. Take the final figure and divide by the number of shares you expect to be in circulation in 2028 and that probably gives you a figure close to current SP.

Of course it is impossible to guess these figures accurately and time and progress will remove uncertainties and raise the SP. But until then there is no point in fretting about what you see as a low SP.

The next big hoorah to publicise the exciting progress of AVA6000 will be in July after 2weekly cycle data has been analysed.

What you have to remember when engaging with DTW is that he has fallen in love with Avacta, sees everything through rose tinted glasses, can’t bear to entertain anything but good things about Avacta and probably has far to much riding on it’s success in the short term.
