Reading EDF and Colour you get the feeling they are running Bihar.

I would still like to know why CC got what looked like a short notice (start immediately) 1m

units Bihar contract. That just does not happen in the Smart world.

So whose backside were we covering and did EDF have any involvement.

Well Colour, I think that is where licensing comes into play. If the other 2 main players adopt CC, Genus having already done so apparently, then the supply chain moves to the remaining manufacturers. The fixed income from TOTEX should cover any finance needs.

It is a matter of getting the signups. Hopefully tenders will develop to 5m, giving continuity to cash flow. DYOR

I am disappointed that we have fallen below 16p but on lack of information not unusual.

We keep saying should be above 20p and more like 30p.

With the contract volume to 4.2m that should have been achieved.

However had this been a FTSE100 company I would have firstly looked at shares in play and dilution. So we started this era with approx 150m shares and now have 270m shares. Getting my calculator out and 16p as the benchmark I calculate 16 divided 150 X 270 = 29p. Is that reasonable if so at old SP, but should be way above that, observations please. DYOR

Well mcgoof, in my opinion a further placing would infer the company has no money. the idea is for TOTEX to create a regular income, Genus has now I believe taken CC inhouse so costs there are with Genus. I am assuming that CC tank will no longer be empty. I was surprised at last big increase in shares which came out of the blue and I could not find a reason for. From consolidation of 150m shares we have now risen to 275m.

With all that is being expected I would be looking further down the line, with SP increases, for CC to do buybacks or if massive increases say 3 for 1 issue to keep SP within 250p etc.

With AIM you have to look big otherwise there is no point and back to FTSE100.

Now 26p to 4p would have been a worry.

This is AIM so people know the score. The amount of times you and Colour have said this is India but are both still in the pot. JC can hint at possibilities but by the rules cannot lie.

We were expecting March/April to bring news but it did not come, nothing to do with JC.

You have boldly said before that you are more than happy with situation, so why stir.

Morning Vas. Good point but I feel there is a need to be eye catching, existing PI's already know the score, onlookers do not, they may flick on and off BB or share summaries and large numbers catch the eye. The problem at this stage is that we know that CC is capable of delivering the goods so now it is down to PR and not these massive gaps between exciting bits of information. It might help if we move to lower FTSE like 250 but I think Stamp Duty comes into play then, making a difference on small buy/sell prices.

Well Vas, the 600k was spread over 27 months.

I may have asked this one before but how does the lead contractor pitch their bid for a tender figure wise. They cant just guess a figure. So they must already have negotiated with the likes of CC.

Just trawling through my old LFB website. Are these e-bike batteries of similar make up to ones used for house storage. Nowadays only batteries I know about are AGM (Stop/Start).

I did not mention them initially because they are not manufacturers, just go betweens.

However I would think all these Indian based companies get on very well together and if they want to achieve anything like the numbers this year then it must be all systems go.

It is strange that SP has stalled at16>17p. It was way above this when we only had an order book of 1m. I must admit I have never looked deeply into off-book trading.

Unless seller has need for these 1m trades it could well be they hold at this level to bounce SP back up before further sells.

Takeovers have been tossed about before, especially by ITT, but I still think there is a possibility, that a consortium of say Genus, L+T, HPL, others etc could a take a majority stake (51%+) to protect their interest in continuity and maintenance.

My reasoning is most will be limited to 10m unit production per year so not in their interest to own CC outright, by controlling they guarantee the supply chain of the most important part of the Smart meter, they can let CC trade with all comers using existing BOD.

This would certainly improve SP overall.

Point taken ITT, it now comes back to JC to highlight all the current advances in India, which can be very confusing to an onlooker. An update is also necessary for ROW to catch the eye of international investors. As we know there are many opposition companies out there but being a small setup CC can probably outbid them, add speed, reliability, security and of course the smart element which is all that makes a Smart meter.

Good observation ITT, also read tightfist on other BB regarding 6 month rule, makes sense.

One for jake here, TOTEX; of a contract a % is Totex with the rest on delivery I believe.

Any idea on Totex %.

My reasoning from afar is we could have, quite possibly, the whole 6.7m but as opposed to volume orders these orders may come 1m lots. Again my reasoning, if say we received the whole order then Totex (devided by 27) would kick in. Now if there are no benchmarks we could get payments well in advance of delivery. This could be costly to the lenders.

So it could be that total 250m are in 1m packages, a bit more paperwork.

Colour will probably say this does not make sense, may be it doesn't.
